Worst experiences at this location ever. I have a few suggestions open the other lane for drive thru orders so curb side can properly park and not impede drive thru traffic. This will allow for smoother drive thru orders as well. Also, hire more employees for this location or properly manage the current employees. This location is always needing more employees or proper management during the busy hours. I called the restaurant for the curb side issue and was instructed that the employees will not be allowed to walk anywhere other than designated spots for the curb side. I walked inside to receive my order about about 6:10 pm since the parking spots where blocked. My order was ready for pickup at 6:07-6:10 pm. According to the app. I stood inside to retrieve my order for approximately 15 minutes in the spot for online orders was not talked to for about 10 minutes. Employees are running around with no guidance and are overwhelmed. Seemed like under duress employees are lost. Food was cold and made improperly along with my drink choice I think I ended up with someone else’s food. Restaurant isn’t cleaned properly and you have to try to eat your food before the flies flying around everywhere try. This is partly I think of the lack of employees or poor management. I love Whataburger but this location is the worst. I hope that you find this helpful. This store is in need of help ASAP.
Response I received below... Good morning! My name is jasmine and I apologize for the wait yesterday. As you may know the weather was bad yesterday. We had managed the best way we could yesterday with the amount of people we had. I believe we did a great job! Things happen and yesterday was just a bad day for everyone but we still maintained and got the job done. Thank you for your concerns and again I apologize for the wait. I hope that you stay safe, and drive carefully in this weather. Have a great week/weekend.
If jasmine believes the things listed above are a good job by her team. Then I was right management is terrible. Food was wrong, restaurant was dirty, unhappy customers. Put newer employees with experienced employees that way they can ask for help and make food right. Since management can’t seem to hold anyone accountable. You addressed one problem out of the list of problems I gave you. But mentioned no remedy to fix the problems. The service is always terrible. It’s not just a one off day. If they offer courses you can take for...
Read moreAwful!!!!! The drive thru order taker was having problems taking our order. After the third attempt of her reading back our order wrong we went inside to order. The GM Joe actually took our order and I informed him of the drive thru situation. He took our order and as we waited we could see the employees in the back making the food. After about 10 minutes of waiting on our food, I noticed one man in the back touching the food without gloves on, making the burgers. He was the ONLY person out of gloves preparing food to be served and the final product at that. I was bothered by the situation and told the GM of the situation and that I wanted a refund. He came back to us to asked which employee we saw without gloves on preparing the food and I let him know. He came back to register to refund our money and as he was struggling to do that task he was also giving me a lecture of how McDonald's doesn't wear gloves when they prepare food and how it's not violating health department codes because they double wash their hands every 30 minutes. After I was tired of his continual excuses/reasons as to why this was acceptable, even though he freaked out when I initially told him about the employee not wearing gloves I finally spoke up. I let him know that if he's comparing himself to the other fast food restaurant that wasn't saying much and that's not a place I care to eat at and if that is okay with their company then why is he the ONLY employee preparing food not wearing gloves. Also I personally have a problem if he's not wearing gloves because gloves remind you/keep you from doing normal things you would without them on, such as wipe your nose, scratch your head. I also let him know I did not want to hear his lecture/ excuses because I was beyond annoyed with situation and he could just refund me my money so I could...
Read moreGrowing up Whatabuger was known as the over priced fast food burgers shop.
But over the years Whataburger has become a very popular fast food restaurant for my family and many of my friends.
I have enjoyed being able to get my burgers made the way I want them. And they are priced about the same as everyone else.
Their burgers are still bigger than other popular fast food restaurants.
As for customer service. We typically visit the store at I-35 between 2nd and 15th in Edmond. It's most convenient for us as we live northeast of this location about 10 miles.
We have used the drive through more than eating inside. I prefer dinning in as opposed to take out. If my order is incorrect, having it fixed or replaced is easy. If and when it has happened. They fixed my order or replaced it without any questions. This is good customer service.
Once or twice as we have been traveling and we are going by this Whataburger, we have learned that it's necessary to pull everything out of the bag and verify that it is right.
For the 2 or three times that I didn't check until I arrived home. It is a very long way to return to this store because I was given something that I didn't order or I was not given what I ordered.
We always call the restaurant right away. Typically someone answers but not always. When we have explained the problem. The person that claims to be the store manager always takes a name and tells us to come back and they will take care of the issue.
I appreciate the offer. But it is so much better to get it right the 1st time. It's a long drive back. And typically it is later in the evening when we have this problem.
Overall Whataburger is the best choice for our family when it comes to a quick...
