Philly Pretzel Factory — Restaurant in Edwardsville

Place looks clean, friendly staff, delicious treats at an affordable price. My only issue is, on heavy traffic days is difficult to reach the establishment and parking lot is of triangular shape, cars coming in and out is a hassle. UPS store is right beside it, inconsiderate drivers in a hurry for drop off will drive without caring, exercise caution driving to and from the place. I really do not know the bad feedback, to me the pretzels had good flavor, no weird after taste. The salt was not over bearing, the cheese complemented well not overtaking the pretzel flavor. I was impressed on the affordable prices. Do be aware, ONE pretzel is the shape of a figure 8. We ordered three and was more than enough for two, almost $6 out the door is super good deal, highly recommend. At any other pretzel franchise easily would have been 12 to 15 dollars, this store offers the same treats at a fraction of the cost. I will go back to Pretzel and Pretzel again. We were in the area to buy something at a nearby electronic store, and decided to give it a try, we both were satisfied with overall service, product and prices. Only thing, be careful when finding parking.

I really wanted to like this place since I love pretzels and it is close to my parents house. I tried when they first opened and the pretzels were good but the cheese was not great. I ate the pretzels, but could not eat the cheese. I decided to give them another chance a couple months ago and the cheese is still the same. The pretzels are good and I do like them, but they don’t seem like they would come from a place that specializes in pretzels. I was expecting more from the pretzels, but they are still good! I wish they had better sauces.

The first time i got the cheese it was cold, the second time i got the cheese it was super hot and seemed like it had been sitting a while. If they got a better cheese sauce I would definitely try it out again! Staff...

I was so excited to try Pretzel Pretzel after so much hype in the local paper and social media. While the food was okay, I was very disappointed by the behavior of who I believe was the manager/owner. Unaware that customers were still in the building, an employee voiced concern that a customer left the restaurant without all of their food. The manager replied with “throw away the food and tear up the receipt so we don’t owe them anything.” She looked horrified when she looked up and saw the small handful of customers still in the building. That, on top of poor treatment of the few employees that decided to show up for work that day is the reason I will not dine with Pretzel Pretzel ever again.
