Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Glen Carbon

Usually get great service and food here but not so much this morning. Came through the drive thru and the kid taking my order asked me what the name was and he couldn't understand me I guess, so I repeated it a couple of times and he just sat there for a minute and then said ok and took my order. Got to the window and it was an old lady handing out the food and she walked up with a drink and said a completely wrong name and before I could even say anything she just shoved the drink through the window at me and seemed annoyed because I apparently didn't answer fast enough. It's a good thing the drink was supposed to be mine, I don't know why she wouldn't just wait until I could say yes or no or that's not the right name, are you sure it's mine? Shoved the bag at me and still seemed annoyed. Started to pull away and checked the bag, I ordered a 10 count chicken mini and there were only 8 in there. Got a large sweet tea and it was terrible. It tasted like it was old and rotten, it was disgusting. Went back inside to tell them they were missing chicken minis and the people at the counter were nice. Update: after reaching out to owner and owners wife and asking for someone to please get ahold of me on chickfilas Facebook page, no one has reached out, and my comments have been blocked. Ownership seems to be shady and not follow the law. Supposed to be christian based but very dishonest with their dealings and non remorseful for messing with a single mother and her children's livelihood. What a shame.

Have tried numerous times to get ahold of someone to get assistance for a garnishment order sent in for employee Guillermo (undocumented immigrant) several times in the past 5 months with no success. Employer inquiry unit has informed me that this location has been put in NON COMPLIANCE before and they are re-submitting the non compliance order to the state and that it's $100/day fine for employer for being non compliant. Advised me to call in ever 15 days that the employee hasn't been garnished to keep putting this employer in non compliance with the state and bring this to show the courts in 5 weeks with...

This was an awesome experience! Every day to and from work I see the long line of cars and wonder what the big deal is. The big deal is that the chicken is fantastically crispy and the salads are out of this world delicious! I got a kale salad and a fruit salad. Both were absolutely fantastic. I'd sit in that line (which moves surprisingly fast) for one of those salads. The fruit salad was SO GOOD. It's just fruit with no sprinkles. I have no idea why it's so great. It just is. The kale salad was fantastic too. It's nice to know I can get a kale salad on my way home from work. The lady taking orders in the drive thru said they have delicious breakfast as well. All of the employees seem happy and genuinely enthused. I like that as I rarely get fast food but if I do my heart is warmed by seeing happy workers. The chicken is awesome.
