Went through the drive-thru today. I wanted to try the mashed potato poppers they sounded yummy. When asking how to order them they told me they come with the Double Dipper bucket so I asked to order one of the buckets and I wanted to substitute the fries for anything else because I live 45 minutes away and it does not make sense for me to purchase the bucket and get fries that will go stale by the time I get home. I was told I could not substitute so I opted to order the more expensive meal and I asked if I could do the mashed potato poppers on the side I was told that I could not order them on the side. Suddenly there is a man on the speaker instead of a woman who I was originally speaking to, he asked me if there is anything else I'd like to order. I tell him I would like to have the mashed potato poppers that are listed on the menu has a $3 option he tells me that I can order them from the menu I just can't have them as my side. I explained to him I never asked for them to be a side on my meal I asked for them to be on the side meaning their own individual order so he adds them as their own individual order when I pull up to the window to pay my $54 total I am greeted with a man who snatches my card out of my hand and closes the window prior to me being able to complete my sentence. I followed up and Maureen stated that no one would tell me to ask for her, and that they would have taken my name down and sent me a card to replace the dinner. interesting enough how is the customer suppose to know their protocol. I felt I got ripped off , she also stated that she would talk to her managers and see if any one would remember, and I heard nothing. There were 4 guys standing around doing nothing and a manager just standing around asking what was taking so long. There were 2 other people in the lobby waiting on their food also who said they had been standing there for over 30 minutes. There was another person who came in to pick up an order for grub hub and no one could figure out what to do. I had sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes before being asked to pull around and they would bring it right out, sat outside for another 20 minutes before going inside to find out how much longer and then stood in the lobby for another 45 minutes.
