Our server, Katie, whom we have never met before seemed very irritated with us from the minute she began to engage with us. First, she seated the 5 of us at a table too small and brought a taller table to our table for our child and my husband to sit at. She became quite agitated with me when I began moving the serving tray stands out of the way so I could pull my chair far enough from the table to sit down. She jerked the stands out of the way, clearly annoyed with me touching them to move them over. Next, my daughter doesn't always speak clearly, so I asked Katie if she heard my daughter say she wanted sausage. Katie said, "That's what I wrote down, I wasn't sure what she said"-all with a snarky attitude. I told her if she had any questions about anything else, please ask. So, the kids all ordered pancakes, 2 ordered cinnamon roll pancake slams and one ordered a banana caramel slam. They all 3 were very excited to get their order after looking at the scrumptious picture on the menus- the photos sold the meals! So, we ran out of drinks while waiting. There were 2 other tables of people and 3 servers. After a while of not having Katie check on us, we asked another server for some drinks that they didn't mind getting for us. When she began bringing our food out, she apologized for the slow kitchen help (it was an unusually long wait, but we were enjoying talking amoung each other and were ok). The girls all got their pancake slams but they didn't look like the photo because they didn't have the toppings on the cinnamon roll pancakes and the banana one was missing the white topping next to the bananas. We pointed this out to her and she replied with- "well, I can go get you some if you want it". I told her yes, our kids are disappointed with their order. When she saw us take a photo, she began getting nicer, but it sure would have been nice if she had some previous customer service training, and then the entire visit would have been enjoyable.

The waitress Brianne complained about her job in the restaurant area where all customers could hear her. She had a horrible attitude and was very unprofessional. Another customer, sitting in the next table from me, told waitress her food was cold and waitress said the cook must have overcooked her food and he could remake it for her or not charge her. Never given any napkins or even asked if I was okay, how the food tasted or if needed anything else. I had to walk up to the checkout to get my bill and pay, I expressed that my experience here was horrible. She asked why and when I told her my food was cold, she never once checked on me or even offered to check if I needed anything else or even ask me if I was ready for my bill. That waitress told me they were short staffed and if I wanted something that I should have asked. When asked for the manager a man came out without any name tag and was wearing street clothes Came out and did apologize. When I asked the name of the general manager and the district manager, they gave me a name of Maria, last name unknown to waitress. Hmmm??? Brianne also said to me you ate all of your food!!! Uh no I did not and took pics to prove so! I only ordered 1 biscuit and gravy (cold), bacon (cold), and hash browns (cold) and tasteless! At that time, Brianne grabbed her name tag and was shaking at me and said if I had a problem with her, that was her name and I could tell her manager, of name she only gave me was Maria. This is the worst service at any restaurant I have ever dined!!! Do not recommend this Denny’s to anyone!

No issues with wait time. The food was pretty decent. My husband wasn’t a fan of the burger. He said the burger didn’t taste like 100% beef. The waffles were delicious. I love sweets, but the caramel on top was too much for me. The server never smiled. She overfilled my drink and it spilled over on to the table, but she didn’t apologize, didn’t offer to clean it up, and didn’t bring loose napkins until our food came. Once we had our food, she only checked on us once. My husband ran out of drink and had to drink mine. The worst part of the visit was our waitress and the cook bickering back and forth several times. Of all of the food stops in the area we chose this Denny's and we're kicking ourselves for it. It'll be difficult to find where to start.

Our waitress gave us our drinks in stained glasses- my friend getting a strawberry lemonade that was so syrupy that he needed a spoon and eventually had to water it down.

Then there's the food... I personally ordered a four cheese omelette that didn't taste like it had even one cheese in it and left an extremely nasty taste in my mouth. Another buddy received a dirty plate for his cold mozzarella sticks and a quesadilla that looked and tasted like someone just sprinkled some cheese in it and threw it in the microwave like how we would do for evening snacks in middle school. And money was paid for this all.

But the finale of this meal from hell came from the fly who migrated from the onion rings left at a nearby vacant table for quite some time to our table and chose to land on our plates and glasses.

Somehow they found a way to fall shy of our already lowered expectations. I would never revisit this Denny's ever again.
