The staff was great but one of the rooms I booked smelled from marijuana from the previous guests. I was not happy because my son and his family were staying in that room. We couldn't switch rooms because I am allergic to marijuana and was having a reaction just from walking in there. I had also booked a jetted tub suite with a balcony, but when I checked in that room was already taken. i also had to rent a roll away bed for my grandkids but they said they didn't have any pillows available. And if they did we would have to pay a fee for them. The pool area was great and the the hotel was clean. When we checked in the system wasn't working and it took over 1/2 an hour., and it wouldn't accept payment and the check in clerk asked me if I had enough money in my account to pay for the rooms! He had to reboot the system and then change his password again.
This happened 3 times! I had reservations for 3 rooms and had to pay for them individually because the system wasn't allowing need to pay for all three rooms which are all under the same reservation I did not understand it at all. I was not happy when he asked me if I had enough money in my account but I think he was so flustered at that time that he didn't know what to do because the system wouldn't allow the transactions to go through. I never received receipt under my door like I was told I was going to get or received the receipt when I...
Read moreSo unhappy with with the staff, pool, and well pretty much everything about this place. It took me over a half hour to check in the older women at the check in desk was just very rude. Glaring at guests that went in to get beverages etc shaking her head at them after they walked away. Very rude to the younger kids/teenagers. Finally got checked in thanks to the manager which was a very nice competent person. Then found out our room was down the dog area so had to listen to dogs barking all night. We got our stuff in the room noticed if the bathroom had an exhaust fan it wasn't working. We then went to swim in the "advertised heated pool". Not so much. The air inside the pool room was almost as cold as it was outside. None of the wall heaters and half the lights were not working. Went to the rude check in lady and said there was nothing she could do. Then once in the freezing room with way below heated temp water we realized the flippin pool was not even circulating the water. So we were swimming around in stagnant cool water with freezing room. So disgusted and disappointed. This place was the same price as the La Quinta across the road where we stayed three nights before that on our trip down. Honestly my recommendation take it or leave it is book with La Quinta hotel across the street. The pool was awesome staff was great everything worked that was...
Read moreThis hotel met our expectations for "Comfort Choice" Hotel brand. It had a desk, loveseat (that converts to another bed, if needed), tv, refrigerator, closet, etc. The wall air conditioning unit performed very well and ran quietly. The bed mattress was medium/firm. Pillows were very soft and comfortable. Shower/tub has good water pressure and warm temperature. Toilet had elongated seat, but sat low (many people, these days, prefer a higher toilet). Hotel was very clean and smelled nice throughout. Every staff member, we encountered, was courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful. Hotel did not have an elevator to the second floor. If stairs are an issue for you, you'll want to request a room on the first floor. Hotel provided breakfast which included eggs, sausage links, waffles, bagels/muffins, sausage gravy and biscuits (what I had) milk, juice, coffee. The eggs were cooked into a molded round, egg muffin shape and were microwaved to re-heat (not very good). One type of standard coffee blend (tasted pretty good). Cardboard coffee cup was of high quality and insulated the heat well, in your hand. The breakfast room was a little small, for the size of the hotel, and could not accommodate everyone at peak times. We would stay here again and...
