Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Effingham

Lobby was closed because there were only 2 people working inside. The lady working the window was snarky and rude. The price for a SMALL drink was $3 something, which I asked her to remove from my order once we got to the window... I would have asked before we got to the window, but she cut us off at the speaker. The food was decent. However, a coleslaw was missing from the 2nd order... we did 2 orders at the drive-thru. A friend and I were traveling home, so we were just passing through. We pulled over to a truck stop to wash our hands and sat in the car to eat, which is when the missing coleslaw was discovered. We called to place an order to be picked up up for our store as we was buying our team lunch and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and disrespectful. We was in middle of our own lunch rush and wasn't going be able order online as we was paying cash and she told us we had to come thru and order there. Needless to say we won't ever order food from there again as they messed up the whole order and made us come there as we are a business also! 5 stars for service & quality of food. We were passing thru on our way from MO to Indy & dined in on Friday @ 11:30am. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. The food was hot and likely the best LJS I've had in 30 years. The bathrooms were clean. The building itself needs serious TLC and updating but that isn't something I'd hold against the people working.
