Gennaro's Italian Grille & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Egg Harbor City

Food tasted great despite missing the provolone cheese which is normally on the sausage peppers and onions sub. But they did add the marinara sauce as I requested. Buffalo wings were delicious.

MS. G. Was our waitress. She's great as she waits on you. Very accommodating. Patient and courtesy, UNTIL check is paid and tip giving. Then I was made to feel unwanted in there establishment as I waited for my brother to finish with the restroom. (Which is very clean restroom)

Restaurant located at a great area. But there was an older Man there, whom may have been the owner, would constantly look at me and my brother each time he walked passed the eating area. At least 6 times I can remember. And each time he did not give a pleasant nor welcoming look. On the 3rd time he looked at us I smiled, looked in face and gave a nodded gesture, while he was heading to check the restaurant mailbox. But he totally kept his unwelcoming expression turned his head and continued to walking down the physically impaired ramp, without even acknowledging my hello gesture. Reasons why I gave a low rating on atmosphere.

Ate here before bout 5 to 7 times but spaced out, due to not being a resident of that area. But my brother is a resident in that area and we both love the food their and service and USUALLY the atmosphere. But for some unknown reasons, this time was no where near the welcoming atmosphere.

In short, if you want great tasting food, this is a great spot to go to. But if you're Not A certain look, I recommend...

We went there on December 3rd after the Egg Harbor City tree lighting. We closed the place. Our waitress was the same; we'd been there a few times. She's a sweetheart and wears a boat load of jewelry, which I do not recommen.Only because of theft in todays world, you maybe setting yourself up for a robbery; but she loves it. She was the only one there to serve us and she did a fantastic job; under much stress and went out of her way to answer all my question and to get us what we needed. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves and our food emmesely. Our food was delectable and great portions. I'd recommend this place for a great meal and atmosphere as long as they...

Been here a few times over the last week. I had an average experience.

The service while picking up has been poor. The cooks barking over the counter seems unnecessary, you feel rushed and unwelcome.

The food is fine. I had the chicken Marsala, Godfather sub, chicken cutlet sub, veal Parm sub, sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks. The godfather sub was honestly my favorite, just an improved Italian sub..

The veal was chewy. Chicken cutlet sub was ok, the broccoli rabe stems need to be picked out or something, they were a low point.
