Starbucks — Restaurant in El Cajon

This Starbucks serves OK drinks. However, if you like going through the drive-through like me, prepare to get frustrated. I don’t know if they have a faulty system, or what the problem is, but they always struggle to hear my order. I am not a soft spoken person either, and I am very articulate. I literally have to raise my voice, almost to the point of yelling. In addition, I usually need to repeat my order two or three times for them to get it right.

“ i’d like call hot coffee”... silence for 4-5 seconds, “ did you say small hot chocolate?”, “ no, that was a tall hot coffee”, “ did you say a tall latte?”... etc., erc. Very frustrating.

Also, this Starbuck seems to take unusually long for drive-throughout orders. The other Starbucks drive-through that I go to normally turn orders pretty fast. Not here. Be prepared to wait in the drive-through line for 10 to 15 minutes, even if there are only three or four cars...

Look, I gotta say I have had my first bad Starbucks experience…this child who helped me really my morning…her name started with a N like naharma with a heart on her name tag. She informed me there was no Irish crème syrup (no prob) can I have the foam instead? Of course she said yes but it would be more. I asked if I can be charged the price of what I wanted instead paying more for the substitution and she’s like uhm no we can’t do that she didn’t ask she didn’t seem to care I just stared because I didn’t wanna mess her morning up or make her look Anyway this early on a Saturday but I am upset. 3 stars because I’m sure she’s a good person but I don’t even like my drink I...

They screw my order up almost every time I come. I can assure you it’s not a challenging order. The drive thru is normally very slow as well. This is the closest location to my house, however, I normally go to another one because I can assure that it runs like a well oiled machine. This location is poorly managed, they never seem to have enough employees, the employees don’t seemed well trained.For the most part employees are very nice, I try giving them the benefit of the doubt. I also kind of wonder if they can’t hear very well and the drive thru. This location seems to have high turnover, so I’m guessing this isn’t the best store...
