Denny's Restaurant — Restaurant in El Centro

I have Never in my life been Discriminated against until today!! First we waited 15-20 mins just for our waitress to come take our drink order. Which by then we were ready to order. So in the middle of her taking our order and us asking about something with the kids meal she Literally says I’m going to go take their order “gestures to the table next to us” And WALKS OFF!! We were STILL ordering ourselves!! Then when she Finally got our food out she NEVER came to check on us and we ran out of water and tea. I had to ask another waiter and she saw me do this so she decided to come up then! Let me just say that the other tables she was waiting on had Hispanic people and she was Hispanic. I feel like because we are not Hispanic that she felt we were not as important!! Believe me I have worked in the food industry and I don’t care what race, size, or religion you are it is your Responsibility to make sure that your Customer is Always happy and Comfortable!! Food was very good but lacking in flavor. I had the fried chicken with gravy and the chicken was overcooked and tasted burned. The gravy itself did not have much flavor to add to the chicken. Lemonade was tasty but too sweet, however that helps if the ice melts and doesn't dilute the flavor too much. My companions enjoyed the pancakes, nice and fluffy, they were gone right away; they had berry pancakes and birthday pancakes. Service was excellent, they served the food right away, constant attention if everything was good, very satisfied. The environment was a bit dull, the windows were closed and just the overall ambiance too quiet and dark. I remember that place being more bustling. It wasn't packed ....the wait was ok. We ordered breakfast and a french toast combo. The food took over 30 min. We complained about that. The waiter stated she had a table of 8 ppl.. to serve ahead of us. We finally got breakfast, my coffee was cold by then.reordered coffee, French toast was raw egg . Very soggy,my daughter's french toast was very hard. Mind you seemed breakfast was done with very poor quality.we complained again and had to wait for a new order of French toast ..for both of us.
