Subway — Restaurant in El Centro

Nothing wrong with this particular location, it's a Subway. I haven't eaten at a Subway in years because I just basically think it's kinda garbage. And not in a good way like I crave it when I'm drunk at 330 am kind of garbage. No. Like more like you take a bite and you think oh man this literally belongs in a trash can and not my mouth.

Anyway I ate there one day a few weeks back because they were literally the only close food options and I had limited time to eat. So, I figured, well, maybe they got better since last time. I will give them a chance.

Nope. Still garbage. Their place still has that smell. You know the Subway smell. Kind like a loaf of bread farted? Their food is all somehow is...infused...with that smell. The way cafeteria food all tastes like the cafeteria and jail food all tastes like jail, that's how all Subway food tastes like bread farts.

Anyway I'm reluctant to give them less than 3 stars because the employees there were perfectly pleasant and competent. Just, you know. The food....

A bunch of new kids working but I will say, they were very kind, they tried their hardest to do their best job to please me and the customers. They prepared the food perfectly, they were very clean. The food was fresh. The food tasted delicious. I will totally order food from this...

Excellent customer service! I was having an issue with the Subway app. I went there in person and was able to get everything taken care of with friendly and patient service. Also tried a new footlong I've never had before... the Subway Melt! One of the best I've ever had!...
