IHOP — Restaurant in El Centro

This is a review for a takeout order. The order was supposed to be ready at 9:04. I arrived to the location at 9:06 and informed the lady in the front that I had a mobile order. The lady goes to the kitchen area and looks around to see if my order is ready (it was not ready). I always arrive a bit after the pick up time to give them some time to finish packing everything.

I waited until after ten minutes from the pick up time to ask for a status of my order. I hear the lady going back and asking if anyone knows about a mobile order. They started preparing my order after she asked. I hear all of this and ask if I could have a refund instead as I needed to go. I had another pick up order from a different location and I'm sure that order was now ready and getting cold.

The lady informs me the order is almost ready, but I insisted I needed to go. She said she needs to go talk to her manager to provide a refund. Instead of talking to her manager, she decided to do something else. Now I'm getting frustrated. After another 5 mins of waiting for my refund and almost 20 minutes past the pick up time, I proceeded to ask the same lady about the status of my refund. She says she needs to talk to her manager, again.

Another two minutes of waiting and my food is now ready. I informed the lady that I asked for a refund multiple times and that I have been waiting for it. "But your food is ready," she said. After asking for a refund for the third time, the lady says, once again that she needs to talk to her manager. I just decided to get the food and leave. At no point was an apology provided for the wait.

By the way, the pancakes were delicious, the omelet was dry and overcooked, and the service was atrocious. I was kept hostage for a refund I never received and instead was given food that was...

Food was great and came out quickly. The place wasn't even half full but we were seated closely to others and more people came in and they were seated very closely to us too. I felt like we were packed like sardines for no reason. My biggest complaint and the reason why I will not return is that we had multiple workers like every 10 to 15 minutes ask how are we doing and if we need our stuff boxed up. It was the hostess and then our waitress and then some random worker came to the table and said, well you guys look full, do you want me to box your stuff up, I was livid at this point because at this stage it felt like we were being pushed out and harassed. My husband knew at that time to leave because I was livid. At this point I didn't even want to continue to finish my food and just leave and never come back. Before I left, I did talk to the manager and I did say the food is great but having 3 different people continuing to come to my table asking me is everything ok and if we want our food boxed up really is harassment. I can understand if the place was packed and they need to make room for more customers but it wasn't the case. She told me that the new rule that they made for the staff is to check on all tables every 10 minutes or so. Which is stupid and rude. The couple that was sitting next to us left angry too. Pushing your customers out...

Listen close... I'm a Top 10 reviewer in the nation with over a million views, So please trust me. We walked in, The Hostess points and says sit wherever you want I'm busy, we seat ourselves, asks my girlfriend what she wants to drink and walks away, comes back and I said can I have something to drink too? Order our food... She didn't write anything down, I ordered 2 eggs over medium and bacon crispy and Hash browns, she says we don't have any, I have to have french fries. she brings me Scrambled eggs and soft bacon and my fries. I get my food and she walks away, I take her the eggs and said these are not over medium and she said I'll fix them. Got ready to leave and No check, Go to the register and I'm told that our waitress has to ring it up, But then someone else rings it up, I give them $20.00 and there's no money in the register and have to wait for them to bring my change from the back room.
