All Star Donuts — Restaurant in El Cerrito

I've been coming to this donut shop for years since they have the biggest and freshest tasting donuts around. Whenever I come, I always order at least a dozen or more so that it will last me a couple of days. The donuts are very soft and fluffy, especially when you get them very early in the morning. The difference in taste and quality is very apparent as the donuts suit in the case throughout the day. They also have a pretty good selection of donuts, muffins, and other pastries. One of the things you have to try is the gigantic croissants, which are like bear paw size. The croissants are buttery, fluffy inside, and flaky on the outside. They also have savory sandwiches available cooked to order and they are really good too. The owners are nice and will sometimes throw in an extra here and there as a bonus for your business. They used to only take cash but recently when I went they started taking credit cards with a minimum of $10 purchase otherwise they will charge a small fee to offset the credit card company's fee. This is a really nice local business that has been serving the city of El Cerrito's residents and visitors for years. All Star Donuts is one of my favorite places for a quick sweetness kick. I come in about once every week or so for the #4 bagel with cream cheese, cucumber, and tomato, and donut. The woman who works there is always so friendly. She throws in three donut holes every time I come in (and they are so good and fluffy!). My favorite donut is the cinnamon twist. It is huge and I am usually only able to eat half. Seriously, it is huge.

There is a small charge if you are paying with card and your total is under $10, but most of the time I find myself spending at least that amount for a few donuts and my bagel. The prices are reasonable and the quality and warmth from the workers are well worth it. There are a handful of tables where you can sit and eat, but there are signs advising you to stay no longer than 30 minutes. I find myself only there for about 15, so that really has never been an issue. Either way, I doubt they are gonna kick you out.

🤗Hey Donut🍩☕️🥐 Lovers, let me tell you of my experience at All Star💫 Donuts in El Cerrito Plaza. I was heading home after doing some shopping, as I approached the shop I decided to step in, it was late in the day the owner Jenna and her young son we're getting ready to close up shop, I purchased a few Donuts add to my delight I was treated to a complimentary donut. I can't begin to tell you how delicious the Donuts were, in my opinion it was the best donut I had ever eaten, FRESH just enough glaze. I had a manicure appointment the very next day, and I stepped in the shop again, Jenna had everything SHOWCASED sBEAUTIFULLY, the shop was CLEAN the PASTRIES & DONUTS were just MOUTH-WATERING 🤤😚😋 I went back after my manicure appointment to purchase a couple more donuts for my MIDNIGHT SNACK 🤑 so if it's your week to bring donuts to work..... head on over to All Star Donuts, Jenna will "HOOK YOU UP" but try not to eat half the Box before you actually get to...
