I've been hitting this donut shop for 30 years. My grandparents lived about a block away. Grandpa used to get a box for the kids every once in a while. After he passed on, and I had my own children, I'd stop and get a box for them. It was a nice way to remember my grandfather and draw a personal story connection between him and the great-grandchildren that he never had the opportunity to meet. THAT BEING SAID, these are the BEST FREAKING DONUTS.
