Found a hair on my food. Took my family out to eat and decided to try this spot as it used to be our favorite Chinese food restaurant before. I’ll be fair, the place was very clean. The girl that helped us was very nice attitude. The food was pretty good.
Now the bad… As soon as the girl brought our food and set the tray on our table, I immediately saw a hair sticking out and only returned my food. I wanted to be fair and asked to have it remade (I’m truly hoping they did make it brand new). I then got a new tray and i was already a bit uncomfortable as the general fear of returning the food that the cooks re use the same food or do something to it. I then asked for a refill and the girl called someone on the phone to ask if they charged for refills. Then she charged me $1.25 for the refill… on a small drink of reg price $1.55… after having found a hair on my food… I dont mind the $1.25 but the principal of customer service. I didn't ask for my money back. I gave it another chance to remake my food and i think common courtesy would’ve been to just 1 simple refill on the 1 drink i asked since it was for my little girl. I wanted to message the owner directly but i noticed the number pasted on the 1 star review that the person got sick, was the same phone number to the business and the owner wasnt at the restaurant since the cashier had to call him/her. My family and I wont be returning we left with a bad first impression, I hope they’re more careful so people dont get sick and use more common sense to show some appreciation and “make it right” gesture as simple as 1 refill on the...
Read moreI recently visited Chuco Tortas to pick up a DoorDash order for a client, and while I haven't tried their food yet, I was thoroughly impressed by my experience!
First off, the restaurant was immaculate. A clean and inviting environment always makes a great first impression. I was also delighted by the efficiency of the staff. The DD order was ready the moment I arrived, and I didn’t have to wait at all. A friendly female employee even went the extra mile by coming around the corner to hand me the bag and grab a Coke for my customer. It’s these little touches that make a difference!
Parking was another bonus—there were plenty of available spaces, which made my visit even smoother. Overall, my experience at Chuco Tortas was seamless and enjoyable. I’m looking forward to trying their delicious offerings in the future, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great service and a clean...
Read more1st impression is always a lasting impression, walked in the cashier lady was nice and behaved genuinely humble, I ordered just a torta since it was my first time and I wanted to concentrate on how the torta was in flavor and taste, the torta de pastor was serendipitous they should not shy away from using lime, the only complaint was the quality of bread they need to improve the bread because the bottom slice broke before I even took a bite. I however highly recommend this place to anyone it is good friendly staff and the place was clean. If my review means anything I give them a B+. They should find better bread and use key limes and perhaps flirt with the idea of using red onions or regular onions to add interesting flavors, prices were less than noble. I am however looking forward to visit this fine...
