El Sarape Del Valle — Restaurant in El Paso

Horrible service. Ordered tea and received water with lemon. When i told the waitress, she got annoyed and asked my family members if they had the same thing. Didnt apologize or anything. Instead said the "tea is the same for everyone as if to say they received tea instead of water suggesting I was lying. Ordered a shrimp salad and received a ranch dressing expired in July 2020. Today is October 27. Seriously!? Told the waitress and she did not even apologize. She said thats what they have been serving. That they had ordered a bunch of boxes of the stuff. Asked for a cheese burger instead. Burger was good but didnt really enjoy my meal anymore in fear that i might be eating something else that could be expired. Looking forward to never coming back.

Luego ordenamos ensaladas de camaron. Pura lechuga. El aderezo estaba caducado desde Julio. Hoy es Octubre 27. Cuando le dije del problema, ni se disculpo. Simplemente miro la botella de aderezo y dijo." Es lo que hemos estado sirviendo. Esque pidieron una caja entera es lo unico que hay." Estoy listo para nunca regresar. Ni te saben servir. First time customer, I've driven by it for years. Recently saw them on social media, the food on the post looked great and for the price it sounded too good to be true. Glad to say I was not disappointed, the restaurant was very clean, plenty of room, comfortable. This building was an old taco cabana (in case you didn't know). The service was good and fast, the food was not bad. My bro said the coffee was good, they give you plenty of creamers and a cool little coffee pot for the table. We had the chilaquiles w/eggs and the green chicken enchiladas w/eggs. Those are the 2 pics I posted. On the side I had a picadillo burrito (ground beef mexican style). I also had a soda, all together it came out to $32ish, great price if you ask me. They also advertise a $5.99 special I believe, not bad at all for a nice basic breakfast with pancakes. The flavor of the enchilada sauce and the chilaquiles was lacking something, this is why I couldn't give it the 5 stars, but overall I recommend trying it out. It's hard to find solid Mexican restaurants spots like this nowadays, they also give you chips and salsa by the way. Pretty awesome considering a lot of Mexican restaurants don't give them to you for breakfast or at all. Lunch specials everyday of the week too. Go...

We waited 20 mins for our food,but our Server was taking lunch right in front of us. The other servers were helping us. It's is very disappointing because the place was half empty. We were the only table he had. Caldo de res was warm, but were not able to tell server because never came back. We asked for napkins and got 3 extra napkins. The small napkins, the ones that usually you need 2-4 per people. My uncle recommended this place he was ashamed. The excuse it was change of cooks, instead of owning the mistake. Gael was our sever, if you get him as a server, know that service is going to be bad. Maybe cooks didn't saw the ticket,may they thought they already send the food or maybe it was change of shift, but you as a server need to make sure that, you take care of your table, that is the server job that is why servers get "paid" by the costumer. We might come back because mi uncle loves this place, but next time I will asked the manager to get another server maybe Maribel or Esmeralda because we saw them working and they were...
