I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with what happened today.
I had been telling my dad he must try their global latte and he finally did. I was on the phone telling him what to order and the cashier Carly was being rude to my dad as my dad attempted to make his order in English (which is not his native language) I asked him to wait since she was asking him if he wanted sugar and I knew this latte was sweet. As I confirmed on their online menu that it did not need sugar and I could immediately hear the different and polite tone with the man behind my dad that Carly who she began to take his order while my dad was ordering his coffee, meaning she went to the next costumer as I was briefly confirming the drink choice. She was polite and courteous to the other costumer, I could hear her. Once she finished with that order she returned to my dad and she was rude all over again, I asked my dad to put me on speaker and I ordered for him instead. As my dad waited for his drinks he expressed how he felt discriminated and how he wished to not return to this place. I had to agree with him as I heard the whole conversation. I called and spoke to Briana, the manager and she was respectful and courteous, she did apologize for what happened and did offer to refund the money, which my dad refused. I am saddened that this happened and how people like Carly canāt treat everyone equally even if English is not their first language, no one forced her to speak Spanish and my dad was attempting to speak English to order so she can understand. I wanted to retract my previous review because discrimination and prejudice is never ok. It bothers me that my dad would feel this way and I am upset I sent him there. I hope this has not and will not happened to anyone else and they do provide the adequate training for their staff to be kind to anyone no matter what language they speak. Everyone deserves respect. This place received the best coffee spot in El Paso 2021 and I agreed until today. I will not be returning along with my dad.

I jumped at the opportunity, but I had some questions first because I didn't know how to get the 20% since there was no coupon code and nothing was dedcuted when I added the 2 bags to my cart. I wanted some beans as soon as possible as I had run out today for my espresso machine and I didn't want to wait for shipping. I usually order from another local coffee roaster whom I love, but decided to give these guys a try. I called and was told that I would be on hold for 5 minutes, I was on hold for 16 minutes and I hung up. I called a few minutes later and I was asked if I could be placed on hold for 10 minutes and I said no thank you, I would call later. I finally was able to talk to someone who rushed me and cut me off when I asked about the coffee bag special. She said she doesn't know why they still have that special on the website and they do not honor it anymore. The review is based solely on my experience today, I don't know how good their beans are. Honestly, I won't be trying this place again based on the customer service and the false advertising. It was a complete waste of time. Upon entering 2 out of our group of 5 still had our pastries, and we were told we outside food and drinks were not allowed which is totally understandable but we were not even greeted at all. I explained that we were still going to make a purchase and we couldnāt leave the pastries in the car due to the heat. They allowed us to enter with the pastries but from that point on everyone was very rude and we were told again as we were sitting that outside food was not allowed. I totally understand their rule but the staff was all rude, we were not greeted, and we got dirty looks the entire time, making the visit very uncomfortable.
