La Gordibuena Rushing — Restaurant in El Paso

Glad to say we found our location. Grateful because since our 2 sons play football till like six something and normally their practices are at Tobin Park the one on Dyer is close to us, but there’s been multiple times where they have told us that they’re already closing or they completely ignore us so today my husband thought to take a risk and drive to the one on rushing. And I got the message from my husband in the car since I can’t get off I’m pregnant and he said they took his order and sure enough me and baby were happy. The food was so so delicious and he said they were the sweetest to him even though he could tell they were starting to clean up. When he got in the car he also said they were still nice to him and that a girl in that location helped him so much because my husband only speaks English and I guess she was bilingual so lucky us we got the sweetest 3 lady’s who still took us in even when few minutes to closing shout-out this location and...

The Gorditas are flour Gordas. It isn't a bad thing as I've read in previous reviews. The desebrada rojo was good it was just a bit salty. The Rajas was ok ish but so hot to the extreme that I couldn't enjoy it. The salsas they give you definitely need some work the avocado salsa was to fiberous not cremey and not smooth like its supposed to be and wasn't good. The green salsa gave me old vibes and red was over salted and extremely hot but ok if fixed. I hope the owner takes all these reviews and dose some improving. If this places fixes a few things and it could be very good. More attention to detail is definitely needed. I'll be back in a couple months and hopefully it has improved. Every time I go to this place I have issues. The first time I went, the food took almost an hour to arrive and it wasn't even what I ordered. The second time I went, I ordered the mole plate and when I opened the to-go box, it had a hair in the beans. This last time I ordered to go again thinking that maybe just maybe it was just me. Not only was I made to go inside after waiting at the drive- thru for over 30 minutes, but the staff was starring me down and when they finally handed me my food, the manager, named Isabel followed me out the door.
