I don't know what happened with the quality of food and the service at this subway. Been coming to the Fairbanks location for years but never again after the way the employees were. I had ordered 3 footlongs online for my family and I should have checked the sandwiches right then and there but I had other errands to run before returning home. So when they took their first bite they immediately spit it out because the veggies were old and slimey. And it was like that with all 3 footlongs. And on one of them, the cheese wasn't even right and they had put some sauce that wasn't even supposed to be there. Obviously grossed out we called subway and they said it was my fault because I let the sandwiches get soggy because I waited too long and that they couldn't do nothing anyways because they only give you a certain amount of time to complain so they couldn't remake it or give me a refund. She didn't even acknowledge me when I told her the errors with the cheese and sauce not being right. I know sandwiches are meant to be eaten right away and they will get soggy if you leave them sitting there, but the veggies were old and expired, I don't know why they would serve it when they can cut fresh veggies. I've worked in a kitchen and know old veggies when I see them. The lady on the phone was very rude and made it seem like I was trying to cheat my way into a free meal. No mam, I'm just trying to get what I paid for and we didn't even eat them, just threw them in the trash which is what the employees should've done instead of sending them out. It was a total inconvenience because I had to order from another Subway and no problems at all with them, the bread was actually soft not hard like at Fairbanks and they made the sandwiches correctly with fresh and crisp veggies. Ordering from the other Subway proved to me that the Fairbanks Subway just has a problem with the staff, I don't know if they're lazy or just don't care about the food they're giving out to customers, but it's inexcusable when your neighboring Subways have to pick up your slack and have to do the job you should've done right in the first place. So if you eat/order here, as soon as they hand you that sandwich check it right there in front of them. Read moreI have been a loyal customer to this subway restaurant for about 4+ years now and I had never have such a bad experience like these until now. I understand sometimes issues happens and sometimes is out of the employee’s hands to handle. But I also believe and think that as a business and as a franchise restaurant they should be able to fix or find a solution to the problem and to the customer. But unluckily for this subway franchise that’s not an option. I placed a mobile order through the subway app which in my end everything was fine and restaurant charge me. But to my surprise after driving for 10 minutes and arriving to the restaurant to find out that no order was placed on their behalf/ system. I showed the staff my order in my subway app and also showed them what the restaurant had charge me in my bank card. Which to my surprise was “that they couldn’t give me no order because it hadn’t appear in their system and that it was something they couldn’t control nor that my card had been charged and that no refund couldn’t also be made” and I was also told that “this was the second time happening of the day and that if same problem keep happening they would tell the same thing to all the other customers”. Which I was shocked by the response! I ask to talk to a manager and person that was making the sandwiches said she was “literally the manager” but was wearing same T-shirt just as the other staff memebers. Read moreOrdered curbside pick up due to having my dog with me. The order was brought to me 10 min after the time it said it would be ready. I ordered 2 footling sandwiches to which I ordered avocado for one. Coming home we open our sandwiches and there’s not avocado for one and no cheese for the other, keep in mind they charge extra for avocado. The minimal error was them not toasting our sandwiches when we had put in the app to do so. I called the store and they said they could remake the sandwiches, I had mentioned that we had already opened them and we were very hungry and would not drive back and if they could arrange something. The employee proceeded to tell me there’s not much she can do and to call in 5 min to speak to her manager. All I have to say is that the same way we are aware of what employees go through, they also have to be mindful of their customers.
