Came in today for a bedroom set and was assisted by cylina. She was very friendly and gave us many options to walk out with what we wanted. Updated 04-09-25 the initial review was written on the spot and I didn't notice some of the issues I have to mention until the past few days. With that being said yes Cylina was attentive and worked with us so we could get what we went for however at no point did she tell me she was going to do more than one or even two hard inquiries on my credit...in fact she did 3 hard inquiries on my credit in a day all of which were approved but for some reason none of those options were used. Instead it was all used on a different approval it was all put in under. She was helpful in helping herself as well as she helped us even after I had mentioned I'm renting to own my home and would be needing to run my credit later this year. These hard inquiries affect the appearance of my credit considering the short time that I have to bring it back up and finish paying what I got financed. She came and went only when she needed information to close the deal but never asked if I wanted the warranty for the bedroom set or mattress and instead just added it all on my bill. Along with other extras needed to validate that warranty on the mattress if ever needed. I understand the need for the bunkie boards for the mattress but she added not only one but 2 mattress protectors at 99 dollars each including the warranty I never was asked if I wanted adding a whole 500 to mi bill. As I mentioned before she would come and go and by the end after being there more than 2 hours I just closed the deal as it was and left. I hadn't broken anything down or noticed the hard inquiries on my credit until days after I actually just received another one on my report yesterday. The store itself has great options and prices however I believe if we had been served by someone else things would have been better. Also I would've appreciated if she had told me my credit was going to be run more than once especially if those approvals weren't even going to be used. Also would've appreciated even speaking about the warranty option and the mattress protectors being added I would've been alright with just one I didn't understand why she felt 2 were necessary. Read moreI feel obligated to leave a review based on my experience. Do not buy the piece of furniture posted. It is made of cheap balsa wood that is multiple layers glued together. I have put it up on jacks and fixed it twice, but apparently there was two breaks the second time around so it is still broken. It has broken from regular use, we had it for 19 months (first repair was five months after buying it and second was 19 months in) and it cost ~750 when we bought it while on sale in 2021. They try to sell you on furniture insurance, but furniture should be strong enough not to need it. So to those who want to shop here or any furniture store: 1) tell them to show you what kind of wood is under the upholstery. If you can't confirm it is solid wood or they won't show you, don't spend a lot on that piece of furniture (especially if it has moving parts). 2) don't buy furniture insurance, buy good furniture (I did not buy insurance because despite the headaches I am able to fix them myself). If you do buy insurance, make sure that it is in writing that if the furniture cannot be repaired then it will be replaced at no cost. See if there is a deductible. And do the math. If you pay $50/month, that's $600 a year. You can just buy another piece of furniture at that point. 3) the other solid pieces of furniture I bought here were very good and worth the money. But when it comes to recliners, or anything with lots of moving parts, make sure it is solid wood (the extra cost is worth it) and if they don't have anything with solid wood then be prepared to either buy furniture insurance (if the previous conditions are met) or go somewhere else for reclining furniture.
