The pizza and service is great! The employees and staff are awesome, but my one complaint is the police officers that sometimes watch the place (one specifically). I don't know if Peter Piper hires them, but the one that was there today (2-22-2017) wouldn't let my friend and I go back in when we left for about five minutes to do something quickly. We had to "purchase" something, yet we spent $45 on pizza? Um? Our other two friends stayed inside to wait for us and he even /saw/ them bringing our purses, sweaters, and drinks over, but he still refused to let us enter.
I told my friend I didn't mind buying something small like an ice cream cone or drink to go in again, but I said I couldn't because my wallet was in my purse, yet he only shrugged it off! (Yes, he was there and he heard me.) Nice job, buddy.
Before our two friends brought us our stuff, we told him that we /did/ purchase something before having to run out, but he basically deemed us of lying because oh, we're higschoolers. I'm pretty sure he saw my same friend and I go /get/ the two pizzas when they were ready, since we were right in front of him for like three minutes
Would've showed our receipt, but it was at the table with our other friends. Even then, he probably would've kept being stubborn. š
Next time you go to Peter Piper and there's a "police officer", don't quickly run to Big 8 or Family Dollar and leave you friend/child/spouse, etc. there, or else you won't be able...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI pre-order a large pepperoni pizza. Got there around the time said. There's 1 person then me waiting for takeout but a line to order. I waited patiently but then I see the cashier struggle so I'm thinking is he new? So I see the rest of the employees just watching. I understand everyone plays a roll but really? So I asked the bussers. Is the cashier mean or is he new? They said he was new. So I asked y isn't the manger helping the situation. Poor guy CARLOS! Put his head down and said. I don't know. I knew my pizza was there sitting but poor guy was overwhelmed. I decided to go to the actual line and waited. So apparently the 2 kids in front of me in the line, knew 1 of your employees. They waved at her. As soon as she finished serving beer she came rushing down to take their order before the people in front of them putting their order in. She then logged on her box or her account and served them but couldn't help couldn't help anyone else. All they did is Just watched him fail. Who's failing who if the company isn't helping. And poor guy doesn't have a hat that fits. So now I have a cold pizza and other do as well. Look at the cameras. the manger came out. Colored hair purple shirt. And still didn't help or cared. Lauged. She helped the person I called out on for not helping. I've worked in a kitchen for many years. There's a difference between testing people and taking advantage. It's a toxic place for silent people. Y'all should really...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust came in for lunch and was first in line. No one in the front, you could see the Manager, Omar assisting with pizzas. He said he would be right with me. I'm waiting for about 2-3 minutes. Another couple comes in, gets in line behind me. 2 minutes later an employee, Gysel from the back comes to the front and asked the couple in back of me how she could help them. While shes taking their order a bus of students comes in and the manager starts assisting with them. By the time I can finally place my order. The students and the couple already purchased placed their orders. I informed the employee that she should ask the customers at the beginning of the line if they have been helped before going on to other customers. She said that would of been rude to the 2nd customer. No, you're being rude to first customer that came in has been patiently waiting. Customer service 101 should of told the second customer in a polite manner. I apologize sir, someone was in front of you. Let me take care of their order really fast and I'll be right with you. My husband was upset so we decided to just request a refund and not eat there. The manager did apologize and admitted the employee was wrong. He did offer to give us the buffet tickets if we wanted to stay and eat. Ultimately, we where disappointed and didnt feel comfortable eating there anymore. Customer service training is definitely needed at...
