The information below was first sent as an email to management a week ago and Iāve not received a response:
I want to explain a situation that, as a customer, I find very frustrating and in poor business practice.
In June, my friends and I rented a Cabana for the day. The day, however, got cut short due to a storm coming in. We received rain voucher tickets and we were satisfied with this solution.
We planned on using these rain vouchers on September 20th. We had checked the website and the google page, both of which said that during September, Elmont would be open Thursdays-Sundays. When we arrived on Friday the 20th, we were told it wasclosed, and that the swim club would only be open Saturdays and Sundays. This was frustrating because we felt we had done our part by looking up your hours, but those hours were incorrect.
The following Saturday (the 21st), I called the Swim Club to check on those hours again as we tried to recover our plans. On Saturday, the man I spoke to on the phone assured me that the swim club had been open on Friday, and assured me repeatedly that you would be open only Thursday (26th), Friday (27th), and Saturday (28th) of this week, and closed on Sunday (the 29th). I asked several times and he assured me these hours were correct and told me to check Instagram.
We arranged our plans to come again today (Thursday the 26th), but just to be sure, I called again. I was told that no, you would not be open today (Thursday) nor Friday, but only Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say, it was frustrating to receive the news that yet again, the information we had been given was incorrect.
We are very disappointed to not have been able to use our rain vouchers. We did spend the money for the cabana plus entry tickets. We were made to leave due to weather, but felt the rain check made up for it. Now, we have made plans to use those vouchers per information on their website twice. We have not been made whole for the loss of the use...

Janice is highly attentive and very quick on her feet when dealing with customers, she has an attention for detail and can be very charming to everyone she speaks to.
Carlos is super amazing, his energy is contagious and has you grinning from ear to ear, wish I had a brother like him! Great with conversations and with quick servicing for drinks and food!
Jezzel is very kind and Caracismatic and friendly, mixes drink very well and enjoys her customers company when it comes to serving them.
Raquel is very fast on her feet and very friendly, she tries to minimize conflicts and makes others feel at ease and heard when they ask her for some assistance.
Chef is the best out there with his team of amazing cooks, the food is to die for and even makes your taste buds buzz from satisfaction of the flavor combination. With Chefs hard work and his team leading to the meals served they bring enjoyment and a sense of comfort when dinning in at this eating establishment.
Adrian is fast and very reliable, he is super friendly and out going and will go above and beyond for those who ask for his assistance.
The Elmont is as perfect as the description very elegant and efficient when it comes to sales and customer satisfaction. I was satisfied with the food that was given and the service from all its employees that they have, I even have the pleasure to say I have met one of the Owners Named Adam and he is a breath of fresh air!
So I'll be in my thoughts waiting till the next time I eat here, as my soul is hungry for more of this quality service...

CONS: *If you are given a range quote (like $600-$800 per cabana). Please know that you will be charged the maximum regardless of what you consume. *The person in charge of catering (Anna) is slow to answer, answers are vague, o non-answers. I have never dealt with such low/ bad quality customer service. I will not be having another event at this venue, it was too much of a hassle to plan and get answers. *Cater/Service Charge of 23 percent is elevated for the service given. *Unable to take in your cake or cupcakes. Got charged $54 dollars for two dozen cupcakes (Sams quality equivalent).
PROS:
-During the swim party itself, I encountered people that were very helpful and made the event enjoyable. Ask for them to help you: In answering Party/Packaging Questions: Eleazar At the entrance: Paloma was very helpful Server: Lyan was just awesome. -The quality of the food was good, just wish they could use plates that are reusable so as to be ecological.
I give them two stars for the place itself, which is clean and nicely kept. I remove three stars for the hassle of having to plan an event there. For Elmont Admin: if you have any questions please give me a call or email me. I have all the texts and emails to back up my review.
