Tommys Korean Express — Restaurant in El Paso

Hi people! My first and last time in this Tommy's Korean Express 2 7722 Paseo del Norte, 7722 Paseo del Norte, El Paso, TX. We was order 2 bowls , and 2 kimbap. Was pay $47. 52, and when I asking for military discount 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️, it girls with smile just said they not Give any military discounts at all. Portion was small for this price. And they charge in extra for simple sauce for kimbap $.79 cents, cuz I don’t want to pay extra for sauce for bulgogy kimbap we end up just have dry kimbap with out any sauce at all! this is insane! I think 🤔 sauce have to be ad with kimbap already. Also all food way to salty. Will never go back for this piece! And highly not recommended go to this piece at all! You will just waist your money ! Portions are large which was very filling. Bugolgi had nice flavor but it was cold by the time I sat to eat it. Did not realize the toppings were served cold. Not exactly kid friendly food unless they like spicy. NONE of the self serve self make ramens are non spicy which was tough for my kid to eat. And the self ramen service a bit nerve racking bc that water boiling like boiling hot. Hopefully no one burns themselves. Undecided if I want a second try. Great little spot! Took my daughter here for a little Daddy Daughter date! Food was awesome, prices were great and the service from the staff was awesome (especially Sung the owner, super nice and helpful!).
