Tony's Barbacoa — Restaurant in El Paso

The price increase is excessive! I have been a customer for a while but the price increase is so not worth it. Ever since the son left to tend to the food truck, the barbacoa is not quite the same (much greasier), although its still good, I came here less and less. But, now, with the tacos and lonche at $10 and almost $23 for half a kg...its just way too much in my opinion.I drive about 20 minutes to come eat here and its just not worth it anymore. I like how the son prepares the barbacoa which he is in Horizon, and as far as I know the prices are significantly less. I'll stick to the other barbacoa place I go to which is $12 the pound or go to their food truck in Horizon because I definitely won't be returning here...

Just finished eating here, if you want to call it eating. I ate 2 bites, and I was done. The meat was hard, chewy, bland. It also cost $31 for 3 orders of tacos, 2 sodas and a juice. I returned my food to the front counter and told them I didnt like it, they just looked at me, like what. They didnt even offer to give my money back. I even returned my son and wife's tacos. The barbacoa tacos are indeed delicious however they do come with a hefty pricetag. For 6 tacos and a coke, the price was about 25 dollars. The barbacoa is not greasy and has a good flavor quite remarkable actually, however it exceeds my dining out budget when I take my wife and two children. I understand that inflation is definitely a major factor when it comes to pricing and I don't blame the restaurant. I just wish that the prices were a little more suited for my budget.
