Tortas Y Mas — Restaurant in El Paso

Yo if you live or work in and around the northeast side of town, this is your new torta spot! I recommend the Torta Cancún as your introductory dish. The location is right by the Hondo Pass/Dyer intersection, behind the liquor store, so it's far away enough from Irvin that most annoying high schoolers stick to the fast food joints closer to campus, but don't hold me to this. Found this place on Google maps while passing through El Paso off of Hwy 54. My mom and I ordered the enchilada plate and 2 burritos. One was the barbacoa and the other one was the desebrada con chile verde. It was truly authentic home cooked meals that were hot and delicious. The restaurant was clean and very inviting. I have a feeling that the man who took our orders was probably the owner. Great service but even better food. I decided to try this place since the place I normally get burritos from was closed early. The burrito I got from here was delicious and infact better tasting than the ones i get from my usual spot, but it was ridiculously too small and hardly had anything in it. I finished that thing in 3 bites and was still hungry!! I won't be back since those burritos are too small. I pay about a dollar or 2 more at my usual spot, and those burritos are huge!!!
