Update: March 2025 - Service has definetly changed here, no sign of the bad manager I saw the last time I came here. Jose R. greeted me and let me sit where ever I wanted. As soon as I sat down Jose was right behind with menu in tow! And emmediatly offered drinks. After he brought the drinks he ask if I was ready to order, still undecided he said he'd give more time. Didnt wait long at all and was ready to order. He took his time and made ordering easy without the sense of being rushed. No more than a little over 10 minutes and he appeared with the serving tray with all the goods. The vibes were so different this time around that I totally forgot how bad the last visit was. Food was good, everything was cooked right! But the star of the show was really Jose who really made a difference this time around and I really apprecaite his quality of service. Glad its improved and happy to have been served by Jose R. Thanks!
2022 Review - Haven't been to this location since the hight of the pandemic eased with limiting seating and facial requirements until you sit down. Unfortunately they are far from the service they use to have. Just went with a friend for dinner (Oct 2, 2022). While we entered and were emmediatly seated. That was just the only time we where there quickly serviced. Ordering, waiting for our drinks, waiting for our food was painful. We noticed that another couple had sat just after we sat and it was apparent service was slow throughout the resteraunt as they waited for nearly 15 minutes before placing thier order. You'd think the manager would be minding the place and as a matter in fact was present. But they hob-knobbed at the counter walking back and fourth talking to the cook, the busser and the waiters as they passed through putting orders together with non-errelavencies. When it came time to pay, I walked up to the register as he was talking to another customer placing a to-go order. I waited patiently, finally the order was placed and paid for. He walked over to the customer who sat at the waiting area to give them thier receipt and then walked over to me, said nothing and motioned with his hand out jesturing for me to give him the bill. I gave it to him and he walked back over behind the cash register and scanned the bill. I waited for him to say the amount, since I was paying with card as I was watching the card reader as well. When the bill promt popped up to make payment he literally walked away to talk to one of the waiters. No tally of the total, nothing said, so I guess I'm just just suppose to swipe and confirm. Once I imputed and finalized payment I just stood thier and waited. He saw that I was standing thier and walked over and printed the receipt and hand it to me without a word as he walked back over to the counter. I was like "wow, okay?!?!" which I'm am certain he heard me since I said it out loud with him only being steps away. My friend was like what's wrong? I said, I guess talking is too much for him! What kind of a manager do they have running this place? I'm sure he heard me since it was quiet, no background music playing. In any event its sad to see that incompetence in management clearly played a role with having slow and lousy service. You have to wonder why so many have opted out of food service when you have a lazy manager more interested in socializing with the staff than bothering to talk to its customers! Bad service Dennys! You need to coach your managers to do...
Read moreWent to get my free Grand Slam for my birthday. It's not like it used to be, you just can't show up with your ID. Now you have to download their app, sign up for their rewards program and wait for the app to send you a QR code that they need to scan to get your free breakfast. Also, it's not any of the multiple Grand Slam entrées they have on the menu, it's an off-menu option that you have to specifically asked your server for. On my birthday this year, I wasn't able to use it as the app was down for maintenance on my birthday weekend. Bummer... But, for the restaurant, it was okay. It's was very busy at 10am on a Saturday. Every parking space in their lot was taken. Street parking is available but I did get a not so friendly stare for one of the neighbors as I parked across the street from his house. But my car was fine when I returned. The Moon over my Hammy was very good. Very rich, buttered and grilled bread, filled with ham, eggs and cheese 🧀 😋. I finished everything. Grand Slam choices range from $15 to $20. Times have changed... The back door 🚪 of the restaurant, by the bathrooms 🚻 was propped open. As such, we had a few house flies in the window where we were seated (at the front of the restaurant). Service was very good, they greet you when you walk in and, even though the parking lot was full, we were seated immediately. Waitress was also very attentive. Hey, it's Denny's. Go in expecting that and pick a good...
Read moreTerrrrrible service. When we first entered the atmosphere was great. Clean sitting areas and the restaurant was fairly empty. Their were maybe 4 or 5 families. When the host came to seat us he lead us to the dirtiest smallest area (French fries and papers all over the floor) when their were tons of open tables . When my husband requested we have a different table he waved us off said said go ahead and pointed in a direction leading us thru like a drinks serving station. My husband and I were kind of confused but went ahead and found us a table. From there we noticed the menus were dirty, but we didn’t let that stop us. We sat and waited . We sat and waited after a few minutes have passed we waited for the waiter to take our order for drinks. He would walk past us looking at us but never came our way or never acknowledged us even being there . After about 10 mins we started wondering why he wasn’t coming our way. Then we noticed he would go refill waters and coffees for other guest. Still continuing to just look at us he started whipping down tables that appeared to already be clean. At that point my husband and I felt as if he was ignoring us intentionally. We left that moment . Never again will we go to that location or refer...
