This Dunkin’ has been the absolute worst big coffee chain experience I have ever encountered. On MULTIPLE occasions. Don’t even try to order on your phone ahead of time because it doesn’t matter. Don’t try to call because they won’t answer.
Have had 3 below sub par experience and have finally said enough is enough. This is the only coffee place convenient between my house and my commute to work. And sometimes I want some thing a little more specialized than the coffee I can bring at my house. But I will go out of my way to drive an extra 15 minutes to go to Starbucks or anywhere else to not even try to come here again.
After my first poor experience, where I was waiting in their lobby which only had two other customers in it for 10 minutes before getting acknowledged (after ordering on my phone) waiting 10 minutes for them to try to look for my order. And then receiving a very cold (supposed to hot) latte. Called there customer service line which was also not helpful at all. The representative I spoke to pretty much let me say my concerns and then asked if there was anything else. There was no conflict resolution proposed. Second time was also extremely long wait, and then I’m leaving and didn’t even get my coffee, and did not call because I figured what was the point. Today has been especially frustrating I ordered my coffee 45 minutes ago, selected curbside because in store pick up was not an option today. arrived at their location said I was here, parked and what I believe to be the curbside parking but there were no signage in front of the parking spots only one small one on the wall of the building. I waited for a while but didn’t see anybody coming back-and-forth so trying to walk in to just check on things and make sure I was in the right spot. There’s a sign on their door that they can only have six people in the lobby, but both the doors were locked so I couldn’t go in, I tried to call the store seven times and did not get a single answer so I was forced to go through the drive-through line which was also very long and I was trying to avoid but was the only option, unless I wanted to waste my money again and not even get what I ordered and paid for. This location should disable mobile ordering from being an option because it’s pointless and frustrating. If I wanted to wait in line at the drive-through, I would just arrive and pull in at the drive-thru. I very rarely complain about anything, and I enjoy the Dunkin’ product and have had many great experiences at other locations. But since moving to the north east side of Columbia and trying to take advantage of this Dunkin being on my way to commute to my Job in Florence this location has me not wanting to visit a Dunkin ever again
Update. By the time I got my order I was too frustrated, I looked in the bag and saw a coffee there, and figured they just gave a bag with the curbside option. Turns out I got somebody’s door Dash order and this is not even what I ordered!!! I said my...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible! There was a time when my daughter and I looked forward to Dunkin’ Donuts on a Sunday morning. I can tell you with 100% certainty. Those times are over. Three weeks in a row I ordered food from Dunkin’ Donuts via DoorDash. Each time there was an issue with my order, most of those issues being items missing. This morning was probably the worst. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel and then a sourdough breakfast sandwich with no egg because my daughter has an egg allergy then I ordered a muffin and one chocolate donut. When my food arrived, my muffin was missing again. The sourdough breakfast sandwich had egg all over it so I could not give it to my daughter and her donut was missing. My bagel was stale and had the consistency of beef jerky. I contacted DoorDash and asked that my food be re-delivered properly, DoorDash informed me that the store does not allow re-delivers for incorrect orders. Obviously, this is not DoorDash’s fault as they promptly put credits on my account plus an extra five dollars for my trouble. So thank you DoorDash for the excellent customer service. I just find it crazy that a restaurant refuses to make an order correct especially one that was messed up as bad as mine. based on this policy, they could essentially put whatever they want in a bag with no accountability if the order is wrong. I’m sure Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t care that they’ve lost a customer but that’s the whole point they don’t care at all. So for those of you thinking about ordering through DoorDash… buyer beware! I highly recommend ordering in the store and going through your orde to make sure it’s correct. I guess shame on me for ordering so many times, hoping that something will change and I hate to sound like a Karen but if they were willing to at least work with me a little bit to get my order right I probably wouldn’t be writing...
Read moreI came in early yesterday morning (01/28/2025) to get a assorted dozen before 7:30. A.m. and I haven't had a bad experience with this Dunkin donuts. They're all usually lovely people to talk to but this one time the problem that I had was I stood there for about 5 minutes before somebody came to ask me "How can I help you?" There was nobody else in the lobby but I could tell they were busy, probably with mobile orders. A simple " someone will be with you in a minute. " Would suffice. Eventually a lady came over and asked me what I wanted and I asked her how much an assorted dozen was because it wasn't written on the case where the sign was. She looked it up and told me what it was. I said I would like to do that please. She then looked at the lady that just came through the door and stood behind me and started helping her. The lady that just walked through the door ordered coffees and breakfast items, while I was still standing there waiting for her to finish my order of an assorted dozen. Even after taking her order she did not finish helping me and she continued to turn around and make the order she just took for the Lady behind me. It was extremely rude to skip a customer and start helping the next. I have never experienced that in my life. I stood there for a few more moments waiting for her to finish my order or at least acknowledge me. But I felt like I wasn't even there. So I left and went to Krispy Kreme. Their service was top notch! I'm going to write them a...
