Spanky's Gyros III — Restaurant in Elgin

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING: I live so close to this place and i loved it. I was so happy that we muslims can come and enjoy this place that used to be 100% halal, BUT Its NOT ANYMORE man. They have Polish , that are not halal and are grilled on the same stove so there is cross contamination. Im pleading to the owner please just think of all muslim brothers and sisters, who could just enjoy this place with having to worry about it. FOOD IS FANTASTIC, and they got every, and everything is great. Nice amazing people never had any problem ever, respectful and caring . Please man, just remove the polish or cook it on a mini separate stove. ALL THE LOVE for you guys pls just make it 100% halal so we aint gotta worry about shit. Wasalam.

I have ordered from this place many times in person and thru door dash. Lately while using DoorDash to place my order Spankys Continuously keeps messing my order up. I order a hot dog and fry that their menu clearly shows comes with a fry and drink and over and over they keep only sending a hot dog. I also very clearly order it plain as I do every time and every time they put everything on it. I even specified in the “special instructions what exactly I needed. This time I called Spankys to let them know what happened and was treated so rudely. I was even lied to by the owner I believe. He told me the hot dog does not come with fries and a drink when it does. I have ordered it in person many times as well as thru DoorDash. I was a customer but no longer will be. Good Evening, My fiance went to Spankys today around 6:15 and ordered 6 wings dinner. He gave the cashier ( an older white gentlemen he was balding in top the of his head and looked around mid 40's). Jerry gave him $20 and he told Jerry he only gave him a $10.
