I hope whomever prepared my order this evening receives the same type of service from every single restaurant they visit for the entirety of their lives. Shameful.
Ordered through DoorDash because I am currently without transportation. Bag sealed up fine but food inside was tossed in half-wrapped and half-cooked. Grease covering the entire bag. Burgers half-cooked and had an odd smell. Fish sandwich looked like it had been sitting around all day then tossed in the microwave because the cheese had that obvious hard, microwaved texture. Tartar sauce smelled off and was mostly in a blob hanging off the side of the sandwich, which had seeped out of the box into the bag.
Ordered TWO HOURS before closing, not like it was last minute. No receipt on the bag. Food here is never that great but to serve a customer something in such a disrespectful fashion is inexcusable. I will not buy another thing from McDonald's ever again after this experience. I am sure no one will mourn the loss of my patronage, but I refuse to support a business that employs people who would treat others food in this fashion.
If they are doing this, what else are they doing to people's food? They are probably the same type of people who would spit in someone's food or worse. I bet they don't even wash their hands after they use the bathroom. Obviously they have no supervision or most likely the supervision is the same quality of person. I started becoming a frequent customer here due to this location being so close to my job and most nights are decent but tonight(December 1st 2020) I was treated in a way where I'll just go to a different store. After getting my food, which normally takes a bit due to how late it is(11 pm) I started to pull off and realized I was never given the large sweet tea I ordered. So I simply thought that I would just roll back through the drive through and inform them. When I told the girl that my drink was missing over the intercom, she called me a liar twice and then just aggressively told me to pull around. I was then given a nasty look by both the associate and the Manager before being handed my drink. I then asked for a straw since I was never given 1 in the first place. I was then met with a "huhhh" which followed with me asking again before being handed a straw and finally being able to leave with the order I had on the receipt. She actually tried to tell me she remembers giving it to me. Really it was more like giving me my change back and then shutting the window so she could go back to whoever she was facetiming since her phone was just clearly sitting there on facetime and forgetting to make it. Never been met with so much disrespect in any food place in all of my life. Edit- Just started drinking it after posting this and they gave me an unsweet tea, guess they thought since I was lying about having a sweet tea they would give me an unsweet so I wouldn't like it....
Read moreI'm reviewing McDonald's - not Montero's - so I'm going to give a McDonald's-oriented rating of 2 stars. I don't expect a lot from McDonald's: serve half-way decent food relatively quickly. That's about it. On average, this McDonald's meets my relaxed expectations for decent food. The problem with this particular McDonald's is the "quick" part. I can cook dinners from scratch faster than they can pump out a 10 piece nuggets and fries. My average wait time at this location is 15 minutes. FIFTEEN MINUTES. Let's break this down: 10:1 patties take 90 seconds to cook. If I remember correctly, nuggets fry for around 6 minutes, and fries are around 3 minutes. Even if you made these items sequentially, 15 minutes is still too long. Note that I said "average"... I have waited up to 20 minutes from the time I paid until the time my food was served, and this is in the drive-thru. My other problem: if you open at 5am, you should definitely be answering the drive-thru speaker at 5:05am. Nope. Not today. I waited until 5:10am and finally left. I think this is pretty ridiculous for the largest food chain in the world.
