I recently went to Antojitos y Más 2 for breakfast with another person. While the food was fantastic, the overall experience left much to be desired.
First, the parking is limited and shared with other businesses, making it a bit difficult to find a spot. Upon being seated, the service was disappointing. We were given only one menu for two people, and I had to request a second one. The servers didn’t seem particularly friendly, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming.
Another issue was the lack of pricing on the menus. While the selection is extensive and offers plenty of options, it’s frustrating not knowing what you’re going to pay.
On a positive note, the coffee was exceptional—one of the best I’ve had. However, when the food arrived, I had to get up and grab my own utensils for both of us, as none were provided at the table. There were also no condiments (salt, pepper, etc.) available, which felt like an oversight.
I ordered a cheese arepa with pericos, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, despite the excellent food, the loud volume of the TV playing news or music made the dining experience unpleasant. It was distractingly noisy and unnecessary.
Overall, while the food was incredible, the poor service and noisy environment make me hesitant to return for a dine-in experience. I would consider ordering takeout instead. I hope they improve their service, as the food is worth...
Read moreIt's a very homey place. I've been passing around here a couple of times as its my route to pick up my medicine and I've always wanted to go in. The colors from the street are definitely visible. From the outside it looks like a regular restaurant but when you walk in tables are set up only on one side. There was only one waitress and you can imagine she was all over the place but did a great job with everyone there. It is Colombian food. We tried a Picadera. I saw the photo on the menu but the plate wasn't actually written on the menu. Well at least I didn't see it. The restaurant is spacious, clean and it was very inviting with the portraits on the wall and these cute puppets or I'm guessing Diablos Cajuelos just chilling on the sides. I really enjoyed seeing these. It was Definitely something different. We ordered small beef empanaditas and they were good. We also ordered some empanadas to take home. Our picadera plate once arrived was huge it was definitely a treat and it had a bit of everything on it. My daughter had a chicken dish with pineapple and Ham and it was very tasty also. We all ate from each other and still took food home. I'm the less of the eater than my bf🤣. At the end the price was very reasonable and will definitely be going back. We go to alot of Colombian restaurants around the area and they can be very pricey but this restaurant will definitely keep you on budget. Need to try if your...
Read moreI bought empanadas and they were burned. The exterior is supposed to be golden yellow. I received brown. I didn't see them until I got home and opened the bag. They taste burnt. The exterior of the bag is full of grease and the grease is bleeding through into the paper towel. They should not be that greasy. The counter person should know better than to give customers burnt empanadas. That is not customer service. The last picture of the yellow empanadas is what they are supposed to look like, not brown. Lack of...
