Stop & Shop — Local services in Elizabeth

I went to Stop & Shop today, 9/5/2023 at 09:58. Address: 801 Newark Avenue, Elizabeth NJ. And one of the cashier was very rude. I didn't realize when I tried to pay that I didn't have enough money in my debit card, so it took me about 2 seconds to transferred the money over. It didn't take long. The Cashier didn't like that I was making a transfer and canceled my order right away. All I had to do was to reinsert my debit card again, which I tried to do, but then I realized that the Cashier started with another customer groceries and signal the assistant manager without my knowledge, she took my cart and went to the self check out line, I think her name is Fran. I paid for my groceries and left. But when I got into to my car, I said to myself, wait a minute, what just happened wasn't right. I had to let "The Store Manager" know was just happened. So I decided to send an email to let customer service know. I couldn't believe she did that. I felt (HORRIBLE), I  have been Stop & Shop customer for many years. On Tuesday April 29, 2025 I wen to Stop&Shop at 801 Newark Avenue in ELIZABETH New Jersey 07208.I went to pick up afew things and I picked up some ARNLODS MLD SAGE SAUSAGE. When I got too the register I kept on smelling this rotten smell. I picked up the sausage and almost fell out that's how bad they smell. The sausage was spoiled rotten. Now if you pick it up to put in your cart it looked good, but I had been in the store walking around and mine you it was a little frozen so it started to get room temperature. Nevertheless, I called the manager over and the self check out worker was there to. The both of them manager and self check worker couldn't stand the smell. The manager told the worker to put it in a bag and put it the back, because they couldn't take the smell. The manager gave me a refund, but there was know am sorry, I apologize, nothing. I will never buy any meat from STOP&SHOP AT 800 NEWARK AVENUE IN ELIZABETH NJ 07208. I COULD HAVE WENT HOME AND eat the sausage and pass away, that's how bad it was and I didn't even get...

I absolutely love this supermarket, as they always have everything am looking for. Unlike Shoprite, so many things that I buy on a weekly or biweekly basis, are usually hit or miss. Especially when it comes to food for my fur babies (cat food). Lately, they don't even have the brand of Stew treats. And when they do have it, it's only for Senior Cats. My cats are 3 & 4 respectively. The Senior cat formula is for cats 8 & older. Why is it they're only ordering the Senior formula. And when it comes to ice cream, this store is the worst I've seen. Whoever the Quality Control Manager is, they need to be retrained. Why is it that they always manage to have a lot of chocolate and pistachios Haagen Daz left and no Vanilla Bean or Butter Pecan. Duh, because it's apparent that more customers are buying these particular flavors! I only go hear because it's literally down the street from my house. Soon am just gonna start going to Stop & Shop, it's a bit further from my home. But, at least I know, I'll get what am...
