Dunkin' — Restaurant in Elizabeth

I was next door at the vet today, my beloved pet had almost died and i had been crying. i walked in with 2 coupons for free large coffees, but i wanted to use the bathroom to wash my face. The shorter middleaged woman with the lazy eye was on her phone and took her time coming to me at the counter. I asked her if she had a key to the restroom, but she wanted to know if i was buying something. i said yes but i would like to use the restroom first. Then she claimed the bathroom was broken. i told her i only needed the mirror for a moment and she then claimed she didnt have the key. i said fine, and i wanted to order coffee light and sweet with my 2 coupons for a free large coffee. i was told i could only use one. I said well the other one is for my husband, i could order one for myself and have my husband come in and get his, either way im going to use the coupons. without any issues the 2 coffees were rung up with use of the coupons. she THEN only filled both coffees halfway and tried to give them to me that way saying she was out of coffee. i told her i wanted them filled and she refused so i told her i wanted the coupons back i would go to another dunkin donuts. she then decided to take the coffees back and filled them. told her politely thank you and walked out of the store shaking my head. i tasted the coffees, and wasnt surprised to see there was BARELY any cream, couldnt even taste the sugar, AND it was terribly burnt. i went in and grabbed a couple handfuls of sugar to bring home with me, used my own milk at home and was finally able to enjoy my chilled coffee a half hour later. Thee place was also dirty and unkempt, tables looked like they havent been wept down all day, garbage on the floor. obviously the quality of the coffee and service were terrible. worst dunkin donuts ive ever been to. ill never be going there again. several others have agreed and said this woman is very rude. pretty sure shes racist and hates americans, or at leasts acts as though...

If I can give this location zero stars I most definitely will. This location use to be my go to being as though it’s on my way to work. I stopped going here because the lady that works in the morning , I can only assume she is the manager. Short, Indian lady! She is very rude, money hungry and disrespectful. A few months ago I went here and I was using my points, she accused me of “stealing” because my coffee was free. She stated how do I keep getting things for free. Ummmm what’s the point of scanning your rewards card if you’re going to be questioned for using them? Fast forward to today. I decided to go there after not going there for MONTHSSSSS I actually prefer the one on Morris Ave. but anyways I go there today and she said “hey mommy where you been” I just smiled and ordered my drink. Large iced caramel coffee, two creams, two liquid sugars with an espresso shot. I figured I have 1000 points let me redeem my free drink for 500 points. So she said it’s 1.07 for the espresso I said ok no problem. Once my points were scanned the entire price of the coffee went off the screen meaning my drink was free including the espresso shot which I am used to it being free when using my points. I’m assuming she did not like that and decided to charge me for a newspaper. When I questioned her about it she got really mad saying “it’s only a dollar” I informed her it’s NOT about it being only a dollar I make money the issue is you’re charging me for something when you shouldn’t. She told her staff not to add the espresso shot. He listened and did not add the shot…I did not realized there was no espresso shot until I left the location. I came back and when I walked backed in she knew exactly what I was there for. I said if they entire argument was about me paying for an espresso shot why wouldn’t you add it 🙄. I will never ever return to this location! They need to either train her or get...

The older lady there is so rude! This Dunkin’ is close to my job and because of her rudeness I rather drive further away. Today I said let’s try again and yup! She has not changed. My app I was able to redeem a free medium coffee. She said she couldn’t honor it “cause her scanner was not working “ it never works when you have to redeem stuff. She rather you pay. When I asked can we try the other register. She started yelling “no, you come with this on your phone and now you want coffee “. Umm I don’t want. I earned and it would go nice with my bagel and donut I’m paying for lol. She was just rude. Then when she noticed I was not feeding into her rudeness. She hands me the scanner and says you do it. After I paid for my order. Which I replied “I don’t work here” and she goes. This is why I don’t like customers. “I said if you don’t like customers why own a Dunkin” The more people that started coming into the store the louder she was getting. At this point, I am ignoring her and she still comes by the coffee station to get my attention to tell me I am rude. Rude for not being loud and going back and forth so she can look like the victim. Ma’am If you don’t go back there and make you a XL coffee and try your customer service skills again!! She is horrible. I don’t understand how you just wake up rude every morning. For what reason, kindness goes along way. It’s how you say things to people. And she just doesn’t get it. SMH. It’s not just customers even her employees get the rudeness. Interacting with people is not for everybody. I’m just going to go back to riding pass because she’s not going to raise my blood pressure because she doesn’t...
