Eli's Pizza Pasta Ristorante — Restaurant in Elizabeth

We’ve been ordering from Eli’s for many years. Sometimes on Uber eats. Sometimes Door Dash and sometimes their own delivery. I’ve catered from them once with no problem. Today I ordered from door dash. I made the mistake of ordering an eggplant parm sandwich instead of the dinner. The sandwich is $12.50 on the dash site. The dinner is $17.00. There’s a young lady, who lacks customer service, who tries to argue that if I wanted to change the sandwich to the dinner it would be an additional $10. I told her that it says $17.00 on the dash menu. So she argues that she has the dash menu in her hand and it clearly says $22 for the dinner with two options, large or small. I also have it in hand and it says $17 with no large or small options. I have pictures included. When I said I have the dasher menu also in hand and it says $17, she argued and says “well somethings wrong with yours. Mine is right”. Rude! Because I don’t want to continue with this argument, I tell her to keep the order as is. So she says, ok take of the sub and I’ll refund you. I said no , that’s not what I said. I said to just keep the order as is. She’s too busy interrupting and not listening to customer. It’s always that way when I call. She needs customer service training. The food is ok. The pizza lacks flavor but we add spices to it. Unfortunately, they are the best choice in the area. Make up your own mind. I’m showing pics of the dasher menu for the eggplant dinner also . I ordered a chicken pie. Half white pizza half regular... a week ago I order and I get what I asked.... today I order and I get a whole chicken pie.... no half white.... no ricotta cheese.... literally the only reason I order white slices is because I like the ricotta cheese... So I was iffy about ordering from here because of the mixed reviews but most of the recent ones were pretty good with alot of recommendations, so we tried it out. Now I'm not a picky eater at all but I know good food from bad. The pizza pies we ordered were both dry with practically no sauce and the dough was crisp, almost burnt. The eggplant parmigiana meal wasn't bad but could have been way better. The eggplant was too think with mostly just the breading.
