I sent this to McDonald’s corporate & got back the most generic response. They made no attempt to resolve anything. They said they let that specific location know. We'll see if they actually respond.
The chicken nuggets we ordered were hard as a rock and the fries were old! My granddaughter took a bite of a nugget, spit it out and said gross! I took a video of myself banging a nugget on my kitchen counter. Once we realized this my daughter called and asked to speak to a manager. She was not very friendly! My daughter explained what was wrong, then that manager told her she had 2 options. She could either bring the food back then get fresh food or bring the food back for a refund! I'd just worked a shift in home health care. I stopped to get food on my way home so I wouldn't have to cook dinner or get back out to pick something up. I did not want to get back out. Besides, was that manager going to pay for the gas I'd use going back and forth to the restaurant again? This whole situation might've been different if the manager handed the situation better. She could've nicely said, I'm Sorry, but due to a new policy, we can't replace food without it being brought back. But she only said we had 2 options (like I mentioned above). If that is the case, something should be posted in the store! I didn't think it was necessary for me to check my food before I left. If I decide to go back, I won't step away from the counter or drive-thru until I check it. I'm seriously disappointed in my trip to McDonalds today and disappointed in the way we were treated when making management aware of the situation. Update Corporate called me after sending that generic email. They sincerely apologized for our inconvenience & said they wanted to make it right. That they couldn't force the owner to change his policies for that specific McDonald's. They're sending vouchers to replace our food that wasn't good. This time before I leave, I'll stand at the register or in line at the drive-thru &...
Read moreBy far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I will be contacting corporate in the morning. The service was aweful I waited 30 minutes for food I wouldn’t even feed my dogs. There was a man in the lobby that said he had been there for 45 minutes. When they brought my order they walked past me 2 times after I said that it was my order then was rude when she acknowledged me. I looked and informed her my order was wrong and she got an attitude about it. The drive thru line was wrapped around the building and I was in the lobby. They were doing door dash orders first and from the sounds of it they didn’t know what they were doing. They kept making door dash orders left and right but no one in the lobbies or drive thru line. They made our burgers so greasy the bags were soaked and ripping. They gave me the chicken nuggets for a child and they didn’t have no sauce that I ordered for her as well. The tea tasted moldy and the burgers were burnt. On top of that the kitchen was nasty the lobby was disgusting. There was dirty water running from the kitchen to the lobby. The tables were digusting we couldn’t even find a clean spot to set our food down to eat. Clean cleanest spot we could find was a soaking wet table with food on top of it. Wet from what? Not sure but it definitely was not from cleaner. As I said before communication seemed to also be an issue with the cook line as well as the service line. There was a lady that waited quite a while for 3 gallons of sweet tea. This is actually the worst service I’ve ever recieved. I’m not one to be a Karen typically but this is insane. The business owners needs to go in and see what his staff is doing and how rude they truly are. Save yourself the time and money because your food won’t even be edible for your dogs to eat. I will be contacting corperate in the morning. From the looks of other reviews this seems to be an on going issue at this McDonald’s. I would not even allow my dogs to eat the food...
Read moreGO TO HAMPTON OR ANOTHER LOCATION AND SAVE YOUR TIME- playground and drinks are good. That is it unfortunately.
I would rate this place a 1.5/5. I am a former McDonald's employee so I get it, I really do. I'm also very honest and rarely have I ever felt so compelled to WARN PEOPLE about a restaurant!!
The orders are never correct, the food is old and pushed out to the customer, you NEVER get the sauces you order AND HAVE TO PAY FOR, the employees are rude and have no care to correct their mistakes. AND TO BEAT IT ALL- the managers are the ones that bag the orders at this location...That is what baffles me the most, because they obviously don't care about their customers enough to keep them coming back.
Before I had the wonderful career I do now, I worked at different locations to rate different stores, for the people, and let me tell you that this was the absolute WORST McDonald's I've ever been in. They care more about the times and competitions with other locations than they do about the quality of the food and store to keep the customers happy. And even then with the worry about their time scores you still will have to sit and wait 10-30 minutes before you can place your order that is incorrect and old by the time you get it!!
Just save your time and either go to Hampton or another one of these wonderful restaurants in the area. It doesn't take much to make a 99/100 on the Health Codes. Trust me, I took pride in the fact that our other locations kept that score with random inspections.
Please work on double checking your orders, friendliness of staff, and keeping the kitchen clean. I would love to be able to change...
