The food is good but the management is highly unprofessional. They can't handle food pick-up/delivery via Grubhub amd Doordash. Have had wrong order sent because "someone already picked up that order". They don't check orders and will just send any bag of food out of the window to move the line along. Dashers should beware of taking orders from this location as it will waste your time and is typically a very low payout for the trouble you'll deal with. Both Doordash and Taco John's corporate have been warned of this locations lack of professionalism. It's a shame this is the only Taco Johns around, because this locations survival is based on the lack of other franchised locations in the area, not the customer service or staff.
Attached are screenshots of my Doordash receipt, and the order I was given. Thankfully my dasher was the absolute best, stuck with it and had the correct order delivered after dealing with this location for nearly an hour and a half. Also attached is the signage Taco John's provides the drivers from the delivery services. Upon calling, drivers are simply told to get in the drive thru line, meaning delivery orders are sitting while orders that havent been made yet are being put ahead of those drivers.
If this location can not handle the logistics involved, they need to get out now. The management needs to learn professionalism and if they want to adapt to new services, they need to learn how to adapt the logistics of their services. A delivery order is just as much an example of their service as the...
Read moreOnly two of these places in Tennessee that I'm aware of. One of them is in Morristown and the other one is in Elizabethton. I'm originally from North Dakota, where Taco John's are in just about every town you visit. Now I am from Greenville Tennessee and so when I find myself in Elizabethton or Morristown and I find that I'm hungry, it's nice to know there's a little taste of back home just right around the corner. My faves are the Chicken and Potato Burrito (For me it's got to be the grilled chicken, not the breaded chicken) (And it's not necessarily on the menu, so if you order it and your host/hostess seems confused, just tell them you want the Meat and Potato Burrito sub out the grilled chicken for the meat). Another fave is the Super Potato Ole's Bravo. Also, their breakfast burrito and their breakfast version of Potato Ole's Bravo (I can't remember what it's called but it has eggs and sausage and cheese and Potato Ole's and is...
Read moreWalked in, restaurant was empty except for an employee sitting at a table on her phone. No one was at the counter. Three minutes went by (timed on my watch), and no one came to the counter. I could hear distant rustling of plastic coming from the far back. I finally called out "is anyone here?" and a woman (Shift lead? Manager?) came flying out of a side office where she was hiding. She was very apologetic, and took my order. She berated the employee sitting at the table, for not calling out that there was a customer. You should never berate employees in front of others! Then, the lady asked me if I wanted nacho cheese sauce with my order, I said no. Turns out it was on my tray anyway and she charged me for it - something I didn't want. Three strikes, and Taco John's is out. Do...
