Melton's Restaurant — Restaurant in Elizabethtown

Very bad experience today. Went to get a 4 piece chicken meal for my mom. Had called in said be 10 to 15 mins. When I arrived it was not ready. So I stood there waiting no problem. Anyways I had a mask on none of the workers did. So I said ok I will watch. Well she started putting my chicken in a box the lady and another lady was talking over my chicken that was already put in the box. hummm then she took the prongs she was using and touched a paper on the wall. I said ma’am I do not want that box. Why?? Because 1st you 2 were talking over my food and u took the prongs and showed the other lady something on the wall which you touched the wall with the prongs and proceeded putting food in my box. So here comes another box being prepared for me. And guess what happened they continued with the same way. I said ma’am I do not want that box either. The lady preparing my box threw up her hands and said I will not fix your box and walked away. So another girl came up she did put a mask on but still used the same prongs that touched the wall. I said ma’am I don’t want that box either. Why she asked I told her exactly what happened she said ma’am we have 3 prongs here. I said well wash them before you touch others food after being touched on the wall. Not to mention talking over my food without a mask. I mean really ma’am just give me back my money. Bad part about it people the last box she was fixing me was put back in the pan for others. Disgusting really disgusting....

Called my order in 20 minutes before going to pick it up. When I got there they had not started on the 2 subs, so I waited at the counter for them to make my order. As the girl was working on the food another employee broke a fan....so the field that was making my food left everything on the counter to look at the fan.....along with 5 other employees. Keep in mind this is one of the small fans from dollar General....not a fan for the food. This happened about 4 or so times while my over was being preped. During this who transaction I never got an apology. I waited for about 15 minutes 2 subs. Along with hearing what said employees future children would be named.so I'm my eyes if you have time to talk about non existent children you have time to say you are sorry forr my food not...

Absolutely disgusting. We watched some chicken subs being made... they looked really good loaded with white meat. We ordered ours and I thought there were French fries cooked into it only to realize they had loaded our subs with skin, fried on one side and white fat/skin on the other side, almost no pieces of actual chicken. They forgot to make my husbands sub and our fries. We got the fries after we ate. While I was eating I glanced out the window and noticed 5-7 dead flies just laying there. There were plenty of alive flies that we had to swat away, they were literally crawling on us. The drink machine in the dining area looked like it hadn't been wiped down in years. I'm still wondering how many flies were crawling around on my bacon before it went on my sandwich....
