Dunkin' — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I’m pregnant, I don’t have time to be dealing with these types of employees. When I tell them they barely put any cream cheese on my bagel- they tell me I have to pay extra if I want more - I don’t mind paying. I just also don’t understand why I’m buying a bagel with cream cheese if only half of it will come with cream cheese. I had a free coffee reward and I asked the gentleman I notice i had the reward and if I could still add it to my order, he said yes and scanned my code again. He actually charged me for it and after I told him I wasn’t expecting to pay for it the manager told me it was my fault because I ordered it after I ordered my food. All I wanted was to get my money back because it was a misunderstanding and she refused to give me the money back. I just won’t be coming here again. Too stressful for me and my pregnancy to be dealing with these little problems. The manager was yelling at me that it was my fault I ordered the drink and I didn’t think it was necessary over a coffee. I also think the issue was a language barrier since the gentleman that told me I could still get the reward spoke...

UPDATE: very long wait in store, when I was the only person in the store. I was told to order at the self service; I did so. Waited 5min before asking where my order was. I was then told "we did not receive your order"...even though I was given an order # on the self service machine - I gave them my order #. I was asked again to order on the self service machine, I said no, and asked to be checked out at the register. They checked me out at the register and asked for payment AGAIN. I said I already paid -- staff said I had to pay again b/c they didn't receive my order.

I checked later in the day and low and behold...my credit card was...

I happened to stop in this location with an old friend on Tuesday 2/12. We had just gotten our nails done nearby and still wanted time to catch up and wandered over. I don't drink coffee and was not hungry, so my friend did not want me to feel obligated to stay and we were about to leave. JC was an outstanding employee that day! When he heard I didn't drink coffee, he was quick to give me other options and give us reasons to stay. His quick thinking resulted in business that would otherwise not have occurred. Great job JC!! As a small business owner myself, everyone needs employees...
