NEW Tasty Cuisine Chinese Restaurant - 国潮粵菜城 — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my 11-year-old son for a little dinner date. I told the waitress it was our first visit. Since my son is a picky eater, I asked if we could just get a plate of chicken teriyaki with white rice ,something I saw on the menu. She said they didn’t have chicken teriyaki and suggested orange chicken with sesame instead. I explained again that he’s a picky eater and we just wanted something plain.

I then said we’d just take white rice for him and lo mein noodles for myself. Every time I asked a question or tried to clarify the order, she gave me these looks , rolling her eyes or looking at me like I was dumb for even asking. When I said that’s all I wanted, she responded in a rude tone, saying I didn’t have to be “so negative.”

At that point, I decided to get up, pay for the tea and water, and leave. The lady at the front desk was very kind and even told the waitress that she was being rude. It’s a shame, because we were looking forward to trying something new together, but that kind of attitude completely ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I will never go back there nor do I recommend anyone to go there with that kind...

The restaurant looks nice, and is clean, but the service on my second visit was horrible. I was actually scammed when I ordered two extra ingredients. I was not given them, and I was the lied to about it. I literally saw the owner/bartender make the a smoothie for someone right before me, then made the exact same one for mine, despite the fact that she used the exact same amount of boba (I wanted and paid for 3 times that). I asked her why I only got one scoop like the other guy, and she lied saying she gave me three scoops. I saw her scoop one scoop. It was a terrible attempt at lying, On the phone later, she backed down and admitted it wasn't three scoops. Not a way to run a business, and I have already informed three people in the last hour about avoiding this restaurant. I hate liars, and she lied. Honor and trust lost completely. I do not recommend this place. And stupid me tipped her $2 bucks for making a friggin' smoothie. So much for being generous. Thank you...

First time ordering from TC and will be the last time . Arriving home one of the entrees was the wrong order. Called and was rudely told that's what you ordered. No it wasn't and you repeated what I ordered 2-3 X. Five people hear you...lol there was one person next to you so not 5. So you asked people there what they heard ? I saw one person eating alone. No other table eating....( idk maybe she asked ?? after the person who answered the phone put me on hold to tell the counter lady ) Odd. She continues to tell me numerous times that's what you ordered . Um no I never had that entree...what you want me to do ? Right here as a good business you should know what to do. Me=ok I'll leave a poor review. Hmmph bring food back. Um no I have people here ,should have said that in the 1st place. I give you credit next order. ( don't want food made for me now ) Five witnesses LOL doubtful....I never even knew the entree existed bc I never had it. Very indignant...
