This was our first time trying Uyghur cuisine, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Ayana guided us through the menu and explained each dish in detail, which made it easy to try a variety of items.
We started with the baby potatoes and somsa as appetizers. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and flavorful, while the somsa was seasoned beautifully—rich, savory, and absolutely delicious.
For our entrees, we ordered the dumplings with spicy sauce (pelmeni), the lamb soup, and the Uygur laghman. The laghman quickly became our favorite—it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The pelmeni was also fantastic, especially with the sweet-and-spicy sauce that paired so well with the dumplings.
To finish, we had the honey cake. It was light, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal.
Overall, everything was 10/10. The food was outstanding, the service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience left us excited to come back....
Read moreEstablishment is welcoming. Appears clean. Ordered to go, wait a little bit longer than the 10 minutes promised. No big deal. As I was waiting. Two gentlemen were dining, one stood up and went to the sink behind the counter to wash his knife. APPEARS CLEAN.
Placed an order for chicken schwarma platter for $18. I was saying to myself,, this bag better have some weight on it. Also being an open kitchen had me concerned. Just as I was afraid of, I would not even trust the bag to use.as paper weight. As soon as I got in the car, to no surprise the chicken was not even shaved off and vertical rotisserie.
I'm not even going to bring up how the rice tasted.
If I had paid $12, then I wouldn't have submitted this review. I could have just gone to Portillos. But I decided to trust reviews from...
Read moreI really didn’t want to write this review. Had there even been one dish that I somewhat liked I probably wouldn’t have but that was not the case. I came here after picking up my family from the airport because it said they had shawarmas here and the reviews were really good. Get there and find out they do not have any Shawarma whatsoever. I really didn’t have time to look elsewhere so I just put an order in. I ordered a chicken kebab that was barely seasoned, bland, and served with some onions and a half bread and a weird salsa. Also ordered dumplings that had no seasoning and was soggy and tasteless. Order chicken nuggets as well for my kids and McDonalds does a better job. To boot they had a credit card fee and no posting say there would...
