Subway — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

Was extremely disappointed with this place, the fellow working there literally tried ripping me off. I tried ordering a mozza meat sandwich and was told in order to have fresh mozzarella on my sandwich I would have to pay an upcharge because he said the sandwich only comes with shredded, a lie. I pointed out the picture on the menu, which has fresh mozzarella, and the guy continued to say that fresh mozzarella was an upcharge. Fine, I can deal with a small upcharge. He then proceeded to grab a single slice of fresh mozzarella and tore it into two, which covered approximately 20% of the sandwich. I then told him I no longer want this sandwich after all the arguing and him trying to rip me off, he put the meats and cheese back into the counter. That is disgusting and is considered cross contamination, ie. Against health department regulations! I will never return to this place and will encourage those I know not to as well, for...

I ordered through grub hub and my sandwich was completely wrong! I get it mistakes happen... so i called and was asked to come back to get a new sandwich. they never once said i needed a receipt or the old sandwich (which got thrown away because covid and who would want a sandwich with a bite taken out) I drove back to the store and was told by the owner or manager "sorry there is nothing we can do" AFTER I JUST CALLED! after explaining that I just called to let them know the owner or manager proceeded to argue with me and told me that's what I ordered after looking at my order confirmation I confirmed that I in fact did not order my sandwich wrong. Since I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work I payed for another sandwich to at least be able to eat what I ordered and there was no discount or any apology made once after me having to drive all the way back just to be told I...

This is not about the quality, it's about the experience with the employee. We ordered 2 footlongs. The person before us asked her a nice question and she ignored him. It was our turn and she must have been having some sort of a bad day because, the sandwiches were almost empty and she didn't offer to add more at a cost. She asked my hubby 3 times about what he wanted. Then proceeded to ask what he wanted on the sandwich that was coming as-is any way. It's like she didn't know what went on the sandwiches or try to look herself and play it off with a smile. She was also pretty rough as she tossed condiments( like she didn't care and we were an inconvenience), while some of the chicken fell into the salami and she put it back into the sandwich.
