A review of a Liquor Store?

Well, sure, why not since I visit it and you should as well (should you have the need). :)

Lively has been a staple in Elk Grove Village for many years and while it has the appearance of your usual liquor store, I have to give credit where credit is due as it stands apart.

It is clean! This place is the cleanest liquor store I have ever visited.

Music. Well, who knew it mattered in a place you will likely only be in for a few minutes, but it does. The soundtrack for the liquour store is oddly and consistenlty good. I have no idea why, but it is!

Courtesous. Whoever the employee is that is the regular (current and previous), they always greet you and ask how you are. They clearly have regulars, who they are super friendly with and keeps folks coming back.

Parking. They have a great location off Higgins that is an easy in and out and even a light exit if you need it. The lot is large and recenlty redone. Also, whoever figured out how to create that 1 parking spot right in the front that is not a designated handicap spot - you are a legend. Folks love it.

I am not sure what I want out of a liquor store, but this place is great and I will keep...

I was recently asked by the lady behind the plexiglass with her double mask and gloves on that I wear a mask next time I enter the store. Informed the lady one of many behind the counter that it would be my last time entering the store. I’m sorry but I’m not got do business with a business that tells me to cover my face.

In response to the owner there has been no law passed that requires you to force your customers to wear a mask. I’ve been in several stores in cook county and masks were optional. You are choosing to dictate your own mask beliefs onto your customers don’t use a law that doesn’t exist...

Not sure why this location is marked as offering delivery.

Before I saw that on the Google info, I called to see if I could make a purchase and arrange to deliver it, since it is a gift to someone local and I'm briefly visiting.

The man who answered said they do NOT offer delivery.

Edit, to add, I never said I intended to order by phone. At the time I called, I was nearby and was going to stop in, choose a couple of purchases, pay and arrange for delivery.

Because of the answer I received, I didn't visit the store. Now, It is unlikely I will be able to. I may try the website, as the...
