Well, it's been decades since I experienced this level of customer service. Thanks for restoring my faith! I couldn't find an inexpensive DVD player at Walmart or on Amazon with good reviews, and somehow I stumbled onto 220 Electronics website, and it felt good. I ordered a $45 unit, got it quickly, and it broke within six weeks of light use. Much like the reviews at other sites say about cheap DVD players. The warranty material said I'd have to send it back to the manufacturer at my own cost, so I called 220 Electronics to ask about options. I told the guy what features we wanted, one of them being specific (not having it wifi enabled), and I told him I'd be willing to upgrade for something that would last. He recommended a Panasonic model that was a bit more expensive but within our budget. He took time to answer all my questions. Then he told me to throw out the broken one, and he gave me credit towards the new one. Then he sent it so it arrived two days later! This level of service is something I have not seen in many years. I was expecting the runaround, if I even got a human being to talk with. I highly recommend 220 Electronics, and I urge you to call and talk with them before buying something, just to make sure you get what you really want and get something good. I would not purchase from this company. We purchased a burner and it said was supposed to be an Alpina. After we received it, it was a different brand/ model. I even called to discuss the burner before placing the order and specifically mentioned that I would be purchasing the Alpina. The person on the phone mentioned they had made a lot of changes to the Alpina burner. Not once did he mention that it would be a different brand. He also mentioned that it would be the europeen plug which is a C. The burner came with a type E plug.
When we called them, they agreed that the photo on the website should be changed. It's been almost a week and they are still showing the incorrect photo.
Purchase your 220V items elsewhere. They are not...
