I used to be a frequent buyer at this location, Placing my orders via the app. Keep in mind that when ordering on the subway app it will ask how much of each ingredient you’d like ( ex. Light, regular, more) as well as a place for special instructions. I am usually not one to care or even make this a big deal because it’s just food but this is NOT THE FIRST TIME I DEAL WITH THIS SAME ISSUE AS A PAYING CUSTOMER. I’m not sure if employees are not being properly trained or maybe they just don’t care as there is no supervisor on duty during the third shift. I went in tonight to pick up my order, which I placed via online. I added special instructions on how I wanted my sandwich made and for quantities I added more on all vegetables & sauces as they tend to always limit the amount they put as if it’s coming out their pockets. Well I showed up to pick up my order, which was still being made( that was totally fine with me) I sat down to wait but could see the lady(has a butterfly tattoo behind her ear or neck) was reading the receipt which in my mind I’m like “ohh goood, she’s reading the special instructions and ensuring everything I want is on the sandwich.” Also if you’re placing an order online I don’t think it’s the paying customers obligation to have to come into the store after placing an order online to ensure it’s being fulfilled/ prepared properly the employees should have enough integrity to always fulfill order properly with or without the customer present. Well once my order was handed to me I headed out and drove back home(20mins away) thinking everything was perfect and I would get to enjoy the food I paid for. Well I open up my sandwich because it’s looking a bit too flat & come to find out there was little to noo greens(I.E SPINACH) I kid you not I counted about 3 leaves of spinach.. which I laughed about at first because I’m like “WTH, how is that even possible.” Especially because on my special instructions and on the ingredients list I added MORE SPINACH. I took a bite and it just wasn’t it. I decided to call up the store and let them know about the situation & OBVIOUSLY I know they can’t do anything as I was in my house already but I asked the guy who answered the phone if I could get a refund and he said no because I took the sandwich already. He said I could go all the way back to get it done again or be given something else next time I go in, which would’ve been totally fine with me BUT THEN ol boy decided to catch an attitude with me and tell me “ well you have no right to get upset or react the way you are” ( in Spanish) and that right there baffled me because someone who works as a customer service provider that is not the way to handle any situation with a PAYING CUSTOMER. So yes I did raise my voice a bit after that was said because it was upsetting especially after I repeated my issue to him and how it’s a reoccurring thing. He said “ well what do you want me to do about it” I said sir I just want my refund because I’m not going to eat this. He told me “well we can’t do tht because you took the sandwich home already” and I was getting ready to respond he LITERALLY HANGS UP. so I drove my happy ass down there again with the full sandwich and receipts. I got there and immediately he caught an attitude and would keep talking over me as I’m trying to explain to him AGAIN what the issue was and how he just made it bigger than it should be. I was trying not to get agitated but he just kept making fun of the situation and laughing and at that point I was mad & frustrated that I even had to do all that for a FUCKING SANDWICH I PAID FOR. He told me he couldn’t provide the refund as he doesn’t have access to those functions on their POS(which I understood because I’m aware not everyone is given that big responsibility or access) I told him fine, please provide me with your name and your managers name so I can either call or come in person tomorrow and let them know the situation. Read moreI have been ordering here online almost since 2 year because this location is the closest to my house, this old Mexican lady with gray hair doesn’t know how to talk to me, every time i goto drive thru she tells me that its not ready in a rude behavior, she can just say that its not ready it will take a while and i will be like okay and i even know that i ordered 2 seconds ago i just ring the bell to let them know that i am here picking up a sub, but every time she says something which isn’t okay for someone to hear, this was the 4th-5th time experience and i am putting a 1 star review just now after facing her so many time, i always order when it is not busy and she still gives me bad response which is not okay for anyone, today i ordered online and went inside to eat half of my sub and half togo, and she tell me twice go sit over there and let her make the sub in peace and some stuff in spanish, please check the cameras as well if you think that i am lying and my order history. I am a regular costumer of this subway but they still don’t remember my face how sad, all of the employees work perfect except her, she is like my mother’s age i don’t wanna say anything bad in response, she should learn how to give good costumer service and talk to everyone the same way, and at the end i wanna mention that i have asked for a cup of water she heard me and ignored and then came back after few seconds why couldn’t she just give me and then go if she heard me at first place ? this is exactly what i wanna mention to the owner please check cameras for more understanding. The two staff especially mexican lady at this location is very rude, stingy, does not know how to respectfully talk to customers and did not follow the instructions provided with my online order.
I specifically requested more veggies and for the sandwich to be extra toasted at the end so the vegetables could be toasted as well. She only add very very few leaf of spinach and four thin slices of cucumber and tomatoes on a footlong sandwich. Absolutely Pathetic!!!!
Not only did they ignore these instructions, but when I politely tried to explain and help them follow the order, they responded with such big attitude and disrespect tone. If you're looking for a Subway that cares about getting your order right and treats customers with courtesy, I'd suggest going elsewhere.
Owner here also does not care about his customers. He is very Stingy and skimping — barely put any veggies or sauces on the sandwich. just a cold, stingy attitude with no hospitality.
I have been going here for 15 yrs but after getting poor service on multiple, multiples occasions, very rude employees I am not coming here again.
