Wing Snob — Restaurant in Elk Grove Township

I recently visited Wing Snob in Mount Prospect, IL, and as a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a wing place with such a wide array of vegetarian options! They offer everything from Beyond Wings to cauliflower wings, and what's impressive is their selection of 18 different sauce options.

We tried several sauces on cauliflower wings and Beyond tenders, and they were all incredibly flavorful. My personal favorites were the mango habanero, garlic Parmesan, and lemon pepper sauces.

We also sampled their fries, including the garlic Parmesan, cheese fries, and plain fries, all of which were fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The garlic Parmesan fries were particularly outstanding.

The pretzel bites with cheese on top were a delightful treat, as was the street corn. We ended our meal with red velvet cake and fresh cornbread, both of which were incredibly satisfying.

Despite being a new establishment, the food at Wing Snob was phenomenal. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great wing spot. The service was exceptional, with the staff being incredibly friendly and attentive. They were always checking in on us and were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu.

The restaurant itself was clean and inviting, and I'll definitely be back. As a vegetarian, it was fantastic to see so many options at a wing place. Wing Snob has certainly won me over, and I can't wait to return to try more...

My second time eating, first time was order through Uber Eats so that didn’t justify a proper review. However, this time was in person.

First off I ordered the boneless wings as I am not a fan of the traditional. Had six in awesome sauce (it was okay nothing special) And had six in Buffalo lemon pepper. Honestly With the buffalo lemon pepper, I was expecting more. But it was simply buffalo sauce with some lemon pepper sprinkled in. I was expecting more of a fusion.

The boneless wings themselves just like my original encounter are a little weird. You can taste some of the skin on the wings, as though they weren’t cleaned properly. The chicken on the inside otherwise was tender, but the exterior and the chewy texture threw it off for me. Others around me had the traditional and they enjoyed them.

If the cleaning of the chicken is fixed, I will definitely return however, if it continues to be the same way then I don’t think I’ll be returning.
