BOBER TEA & COFFEE — Restaurant in Elk Grove

Very disappointed with my experience. I only order 2 drinks and I had to wait 35 minutes while all of the customers after me have been receiving their drink. So, I decided to go ask the front about my order, that I have been waiting for 20 minutes, and people after my group have been getting their orders. However, the employee could only tell me that they are working on it, but they never asked me what my order was. during those 20 minutes I decided to ask a second time that I have been waiting for almost half an hour and when will I receive my orders, again all they could say was to wait until my buzzer goes off. I reminded them that all the people that came 30 mins after me had receive their orders and they got more drinks as well. The employees proceed to tell me that they might be out of the drink that I order, but the all the groups that was after mine order the same exact drink. I waited another 5 mins and decided to get a refund instead, but the employee refused to give me a refund and told me that my order was almost ready! Rented this place for my daughters event for the ball pit rental room upstairs, and well the place is beautiful I have to give this a 1 star. The whole time during my daughters event, the staff girl was upstairs which wasn't an issue but it was pretty awkward because she didn't interact at all and looked mad the entire time. Yes the party was loud, and kid's of course we're loud but don't offer a party room if you're going to be annoyed but screaming kid's. Another issue is the 2 staff girls were annoyed by people asking for ice water. We were provided with warm water when asked for ice water since we are not allowed to bring drinks into the event space & The owner told me we we're able to get free ice water or purchase drinks which we did purchase drinks as well. Over all, the service provided was TERRIBLE & the girls working on 6/17 were so rude. The bathrooms has no soap in the dispenser, no toilet paper in the dispensers and this was prior to my event. Will not recommend this place for a party. Also I wasn't told this was a no cash only...

I ordered five drinks online. The 1 star is for the customer service, wait time and poor quality of the drinks. My order was not ready when I got to the store. The employee asked for the order number, told me they are working on it but did not tell me how long. I waited for another 20 minutes on top of the promised ready time for my drinks. As for the drinks, they were okay. I was super disappointed in the chizu milk tea. It was like drinking syrup. I asked for 25% sweetness on the drink, but it tasted like drink wasn’t adjusted at all. Never have I had boba that sweet to the point I can’t taste the tea. I took two sips and decided I can’t drink this. I called the store to let them know because I didn’t want to waste this $7 drink! The staff who picked up put me on hold for more than 5 minutes to come back and tell me I can order other drinks that would have stronger tea flavor and said she tasted their chizu and other things they used and said it tasted fine.
