Tea Culture — Restaurant in Elk Grove

We order door dash from here minimum 2x’s per week NO JOKE. Our kids love it. This experience however was not the best. Our dasher and time frame of order to delivery was normal as any other day- 24-30 minutes out and notice was received the dasher was waiting for order to finish. Our delivery was at our door in 26 minutes so cool. Get bags inside and the HOT Thai tea I ordered was COLD. All other drinks were great. The there were no straws at all and each drink had boba and additions. After getting on the phone with the store about this my kid comes in the room and says their food was cold. They always get potstickers and fries with spicy Mayo. I checked and yep- cold. Such a disappointment to have this happen then have the store say it was because the dash driver “barely spoke English”. What does the driver have to do with making sure the product is prepared correctly and with ensuring straws are in our sealed bags. The straws are behind glass and a sign in the store says not to reach behind to get them. Soooooo…. Then they tell me they are busier then normal (can’t accept that with regular delivery times on app AND regardless the quality control should be priority. Asked to speak to a manager and the owner was told this is the same person- Karen and she “comes in whenever she wants” and they don’t know when she’s in. I can understand with it being an evening shift. So I left my name and number requesting a call from her. Hmmmmm...I was a little confused by their menu my first time in last week, but the guy behind the counter was most obliged to answer my questions about how to order. He made a suggestion of not going with the 100% sweetness in my milk tea so I really thank him for that! I decided to try a green milk tea with honeydew as the flavor and went with the 75% sweetness. Okay so that was a bit too sweet for even me with a sweet tooth. Next time I think I'll try 50% and then 25%. If you're a newby like me, be careful in choosing what percent you go with in the sweetness department. You know, this place is special - real special in that you have to choose how sweet you want your drink to be. I love this! They actually made their sweet percentages less than what they were when they first opened up and I can see why so now whatever sweet percent you used to get, it is now the percent right below it. This change was needed because 50% was still way too sweet and now it is just perfect! I get 25% when I want to taste more of the tea, but the current 50% is where it...

my first time going with my two kids who wanted some dessert after dinner, I get there 35 mins before closing time stood there waiting for someone help me after five mins someone came and she explained the whole menu to me which took her another five mins then after all that she tells me they can't help me or make any desserts because it's closing time, imagine the disappointed on my kids faces, i told her why did u waste my time couldn't u just tell me that when I walk in the door which she didn't even know her self just some other employee in the back told her, it's like ok how about u as a business all get on the same page I will never go here again or even suggest it to anyone.... I don't care how good your drinks or food is if your employees ain't got no sence or no skills on dealing with customer your business sooner or later will fail.... im pretty sure they could have just made something...
