I've been inside and used Doordash. I will get through the negatives first, because the list is much shorter than the positives:)
First of All Doordash. I've been a Doordasher and must make it known they lie about 100% of tips going to the customer. the truth is they guarantee the Dasher like $6 for the delivery and up to $5 of your online tips go into that. In other words if you tip $5 on the app they still only get $6. hand them 50¢ in quarters and they'll make more money than if you tip $5 online. also I have had trouble putting in instructions for my order here through Doordash. it says special instructions are not available. Lastly because of this I have tried calling the restaurant to leave special instructions and it is difficult to talk to a real person- the answering service leaves automated messages and hangs up on me over half the time. Lastly Doordash adds a couple dollars to the original price. Pick up a double Char and it's $5+ for the sandwich. Doordash charges $7+ each.
The Food- negative review is you should ask for your burgers to be 'Less greasy', especially if doing takeout or Doordash. they aren't nearly as greasy as Smash Burger, where I dined in and the burger was dripping wet with grease. Here it's much better, but they toast the buns on the grill and by the time you get the food home you cannot tell. they're soggy around the edges. when I ask for Less Greasy the burgers are quite simply perfect:) The wait time is a little unreasonable in my opinion. I waited at least ten minutes and from what I could tell only 3 orders ahead of me, I can imagine waiting over 20 min at least if they were busy.
The bathroom was clean and stocked. the lobby was clean and nice. very pleasant atmosphere. Hot pepper bar, rather small interior but quite a decent sized outdoor seating arrangement. I can definitely see taking a date here. Burgers and Salads dominated the menu. I tried there sweet potato fries and roasted balsamic Brussels sprouts, both were top notch delicious. I cannot stand fast food beef, the beef they use is nothing close to a fast food patty. consistently feel good food, I normally don't stuff myself but have had a difficult time not to once I begin eating one of their double chars. they offer regular American cheese and white American, the white is a fine change on the old classic burgers. they also offer Portabello mushrooms for the burgers. and very friendly service.
all in all 5 stars, because of the 'Less Greasy'...
Read moreI came to your establishment to celebrate my sister's birthday and one of your managers thought it would be funny to make fun of me because of my size. My sister, notice the manager pointing and laughing with other employees who were preparing food. When I was made aware I told the girl manager, as we were preparing to leave, that you never know why a person may look a certain way or what circumstances caused it. I went on to tell her that I just had to surgeries and that I had been in a coma and had to learn to walk again, plus scheduled for another surgery. I let her know i only came there because I was celebrating my sister's birthday and that we chose her favorite eating place. It has been a while since I have been able to come out due to illnesses. I explained to the girl that my one of my illnesses requires me taking steroids.(lupus) Very sad that she was very unprofessional and very hurtful towards me as a customer. She continued to deny doing it, but other customers saw her doing it. I was devastated and came back home so hurt. I didn't think such lack of respect and professionalism didn't exist any longer in busineses where the factor is Customer Service. I will think twice about suggesting your establishment to others to eat at but I will not deface your business as it has rendered towards me,...
Read moreMy favorite is the tempura green beans (with sides of honey mustard & teriyaki for dipping), I usually can't eat that AND a chargurger with cheese (favorite burger/ sandwich, although I don't think I've really tried much else... what can I say, creature of habit haha pun intended). Love that my daughter's favorite (tuna filet) can be ordered just plain/lettuce wrapped and med-well. There are times I've avoided the place altogether because of the long line/not wanting to use my card to pay (and not being able to phone or pre-order without payment - at least Chipotle online you can opt to pay in-store with card or cash). Overall good, quality and value. Bugs me how they pack the bags sometimes if I'm picking up a to go order to take home for dinner - setting the fries in the bottom of the bag, 1 order stacked on top of another, smashes them when they load those heavy burgers right on top - I'd rather carry 2 bags then get home to smooshed mushy fries.
They're really good with school fundraisers - flexible with the dates/times, they donate a good percentage and participants can have a hard copy OR electronic version...
