Jimboy's Tacos — Restaurant in Elk Grove

Encountered issues with the card reader which was fine because i was in no rush and the guy had to call his brother who I assume is the owner and he walked him through resetting the system… Just having some alone mommy time for the first time in weeks. The wait was a while to get the actually food. The man taking my order was kind calm and wanting to give good service.

The only and part of my visit were the two white men behind me who assumed I couldn’t pay for my food when it was actually the card ready being down and most people don’t use cash anymore lol

Besides that and the long wait for my food. It’s about 30-35 mins all together and I’ve been seeing other people come in and out with their food so idk what’s going on.

OK update my food was sitting there the whole time on the counter I guess while he was trying to get the card reader up and I was trying to pay for my food that whole time they cooked it and put it on the counter.. so the food it’s cold/ been sitting there …and I’ve been gone away from my child too long trying to have a little outing alone for the first time in weeks alone so now I’m just upset with wasted money and cold food .. if you look at the receipt you can see that I arrived at 7:05 once I finally paid so i was probably in there way longer and the food was sitting there the whole time.. got a refund he apologized and offered to make me fresh food but I’m just ready to get back home...

Got in this jimboys on laguna at 730 pm was told that they close at 8 and that we needed to be done by 8pm. Sign on the door says jimboys closes at 9pm with that said let me tell you young ladies how the owner wants his or her store handled. It does not matter if a customer comes in at 755 and orders food to eat in the dining room. You except all dining customers until 8pm and you lock the door. As people are in the dining room you let them out as they are done eating. The counter lady did not want us to order French fries because it would take to long. If I was the owner and found out my employees are costing the business revenue because they want to be gone by 8pm and want to slow all cooking down before that open sign goes off I would be firing everyone and starting from scratch. Owner don't let these lazy people ruin...

The guy behind the counter continues to rip the receipt so that I and other customers can't scan the QR code to earn point. I have been going for two weeks straight around the 6pm ish time and never fails. I am walking into the establishment tomorrow to report the issue. I get it, guy behind the counter is eithier wanting to keep others from earning points 👉🏻 due to the establishment giving out free food or he's actually doing it for his benefit which is still an actual crime unknown to innocent people just grabbing their food, eating, and throwing away the rest as...
