One of the worst services I have ever experienced. My wife and i placed an order for our family through a delivery service and the restaurant NOT the delivery service made the mistake (as per the rep, "they forgot to scroll down on the order and missed an item we requested..., sorry"). I'm fair and assume that any businesses/people can make mistakes. My judgement is always reserved to how people/ businesses respond to their mistakes. Do they express remorse and work to resolve OR respond with aggression and play the blame game (and ask customer to take even more steps after their mistake). Apparently, the manager "Nancy" has a lot to learn about service and chose the latter. She not only asked me to order the food again, pay the service fee and auto-tip, and then pursue a refund from the delivery service BUT she also refused to refund me the cost of the food if I were to come into restaurant and pick it up (even though her employee admitted to missing the item we paid for). She did say she would refund the cost of the food in the delivery service IF WE ORDERED THE FOOD AGAIN but that I would need to pursue a refund of the delivery service charge with the delivery vendor. When I asked for clarity on how she can operate an honest business by charging for something we have not received and then refusing to resolve the issue with customer by any means SHE LITERALLY HUNG UP ON ME. Not only will we never order their again but we will be filing a complaint with the BBB as we were charged for something we never received. They should not have a functioning business if they cant teach their staff to manage basic customer issues.
The food. The soup was both warm-cold and tasteless and the add-ins were reduced. There are many options in area to choose from. I would emphatically recommend Zen or Tasty Pot which are also in the area as they offer better options, more tastier soups, and DEFINITELY...
Read moreMy only credential for rating ramen is that I lived in Wakayama, JP for six months, but by God this place is a miss placed opportunity. I went to this restaurant by chance when my younger sister suggested one Saturday. Atmosphere plus the staffs were very accommodating and friendly to boot. Unfortunately they had very little knowledge of ramen in general. We subsequently ordered the tantanmen, shio ramen, and Hokkaido cheese ramen. I expected early on that servings were going to be small, so I ordered double. I was hoping for a larger bowl for extra servings of ramen noodles and soup, but I got a clumped up large serving of noodles in a tiny bowl with the essential toppings. What really drives me up the wall is that they skipped the important step of resting the noodles when putting them into the bowl of soup. At this point I was smh. By the time I got to the bowl, noodles were formed in to a ball shaped clump. Over cooked to the max. On a side note, I ordered the fried calamari and it was undercooked. I’m sorry guys because I’m staying far far away from...
Read moreThe place is pretty average. The seating is limited, because the place is small. Seems like all ramen places are small restaurants. The wait wasn't too bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ramen I got was salty. Didn't taste very flavorful and it comes with the choice of chicken or beef katsu. Which I would think would come in your bowl of food, but it came as a side. I ordered a tea which didn't have much taste to it. The portion size of the ramen is medium size I would say. I didn't feel like it was a true ramen house. Their menu is quite small and didn't have a variety. Some of the choices on the menu were left as "coming soon" and tape was covering some of the old prices on the menu which looks unprofessional to me. If you're in the need for ramen and don't really care about where you go this is the place for you, but there are better places out...
