First off, i just want to start off by saying I love coffee, and I'm always grateful for Starbuck employees. But this one on Calvin has unprofessional employees. I mobile order my coffee "Carmel Brulee Frapp no whip with extra topping" When I got there, the lady asked what my name was? I gave her my name, and she stated it wasn't ready. I waited about 8 mins. When she brought the coffee, she called out a different customer name and looked at me. I didn't answer her because obviously it was not my name she then asked what my name was again. I gave her my name when I received my coffee. I asked if the coffee came with Carmel dizzle and I ask for extra topping which there were none on the coffee. she looked at the order and said "you didn't put extra Carmel I told her I know I ask if it came with it? She answered, "Let me go check. I told her to forget the Carmel. Can I just have my extra topping? She asked one of her male coworker if they had any more of the Carmel topping he looked in the cabinet and said no we don't." If you like, we only have chestnut and other ones. at this point, I was already frustrated with their unprofessionalism so I answered nevermind ill just take it like that the male didn't give a sh*t he just turn back and left both of those employees didn't even apologize that they didn't have the topping. You could've at least let me know you guys were out in the beginning before you handed my coffee.just because you were all out, don't just give your customers their drink, assuming it was ok. Read moreI went in to speak with the manager about re-employment at Starbucks, and I was stunned with the level of service they provided for a California store. I have been there multiple times now, and I have left feeling contented in a way that no other Starbucks' in the area have come close to satisfying every time (Especially in the AM rush). I was an ex-partner of SBUX up by Seattle, so my bar for excellence is very high (As Starbucks is originated and localized around Seattle, and all of the local stores are very planned-out and efficient to uphold the company's image). Even on a busy morning, the Store Manager took the time to speak with me. She told me that they were hiring on seasonally in a couple of weeks, but took down my contact information, and told me she would pass it on to any other stores in the area who are looking for help. (+1) for the manager giving her time to speak with me, (+1) for the SUPERB level of efficiency I haven't seen outside of Washington, (+1) for the service and friendliness of the baristas working on Bar + POS, (+1) for the beverage quality (I saw them devote their time to ensure quality of my beverage, they in no way rushed through it, and even asked me specifics of how I'd like it prepared), and a big (+1) for trumping many priority Western Washington stores in upholding the company's motto: "Make it Right". Read moreMy laptop was stolen from this Starbucks that I recovered from the apartment complex on 8282 Calvine Road after doing my own detective work (Sacramento Sheriff was useless in this case). Talking with other people, this seem to be an ongoing problem at this location and the management has not done anything in the form of installing cameras to cover the spot where many laptops have been stolen in the past. Avoid this Starbucks if you can, you will be on your own if you fall victim to the thieves on 8282 Calvine Apartment complex.
